Four years of teaching primary students? Stop delivering someone else's lesson plans and start writing them. Monday to Friday, no weekend classes.

You need at least 4 years' experience teaching primary-level students and a Bachelor's degree in any discipline, and must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.

WHAT WE OFFER

- $3,500 to $4,500 a month, depending on experience. Well above the $2,100 to $3,000 most centres advertise for senior student care teachers.

- Monday to Friday. No weekend classes.

- A 1:12 ratio. You can actually teach, rather than crowd-control.

- Medical coverage.

- Paid professional development and workshops.

- Progression to Lead Teacher and Centre Manager.

WHAT MAKES THIS THE SENIOR ROLE

You will own the quality of the programme in your centre, mentor newer teachers through their first terms, and have direct input into curriculum decisions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Plan and teach English, Maths or Science at P1 to P6 level.

- Set the standard for lessons in your centre and help shape the Curos curriculum.

- Mentor and observe newer teachers, and give feedback they can act on.

- Make sure every child's homework is understood and completed each week.

- Report progress clearly to parents and build lasting relationships with families.

- Keep the learning environment safe, orderly and effective.

ABOUT CUROS

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Strong communication with both children and parents.

- Comfortable mentoring and supervising others.

- Someone who loves working with children and wants to see them grow in every part of their lives.

HOURS

School term: 9.30am to 7pm, Monday to Friday.

MOE school holidays: shifts between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday.
