As an Audit & Assurance Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience in financial auditing, risk assessment, and client service while developing foundational skills for a career in assurance and public accounting. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to audit engagements, participate in training and professional development, and build relationships throughout the firm.

We don't expect you to arrive knowing everything. We are looking for students who are curious, willing to ask questions, open to feedback, and excited to learn.

WHAT YOU'LL EXPERIENCE

During your internship, you may have the opportunity to:

- Assist with substantive audit procedures and testing.

- Prepare and document audit workpapers.

- Review and analyze financial information to identify trends or inconsistencies.

- Participate in walkthroughs of financial and operational processes.

- Learn about internal controls, risk assessment, and financial reporting.

- Work alongside associates, senior associates, managers, and other professionals on client engagements.

- Ask questions, receive feedback, and develop your technical and professional skills.

- Participate in training, networking, and other professional development opportunities.

- Build experience with technology, automation, AI, and data analytics tools used within the accounting profession.

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED

We're looking for students who bring:

- Curiosity and a genuine willingness to learn.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Clear communication and an ability to collaborate with others.

- Organization and time-management skills.

- An analytical and problem-solving mindset.

- Adaptability and a willingness to take on new challenges.

- An interest in technology and how tools such as AI, automation, and data analytics are changing the accounting profession.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Interest in a career in audit, assurance, or public accounting.

- Intention to pursue CPA licensure preferred.

- Strong academic performance.

- Previous accounting or internship experience is a plus, but not required.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
