The posting

At Curriculum Associates, we believe in the potential of every child and are changing the face of education technology with award-winning learning programs like i-Ready that serve a third of the nation’s K–8 students. For more than 50 years, our commitment to making classrooms better places, serving educators, and supporting accessible learning experiences for all students has driven the continuous improvement of our innovative programs. Our team of more than 2,500 employees is composed of lifelong learners who stand behind this mission, working tirelessly to serve the educational community with world-class programs and support every day.

Curriculum Associates is seeking a Senior Manager, Learning Experiences and Readiness (LXR). The Senior Manager leads the LXR i-Ready and Math Content team, which is responsible for keeping our IST teams trained and informed on products, programs, tools and skills. The content team manages new product releases, academies and seasonal programs for the i-Ready and Math portions of the overall portfolio. This role establishes operational objectives and work plans for the team, manages and develops direct reports, and partners with the Director and/or AVP, LXR to advance team and functional strategy. The Senior Manager oversees the consistent, on-time, high-quality delivery of learning initiatives and also carries individual work deliverables of their own alongside the team’s efforts.

The impact you'll have:

What you'll own -

  • Content development and product training. Guide the team in building reusable, engaging i-Ready and Math product training, including instructor-led and e-learning, that follows adult learning principles.
  • People leadership. Lead and develop team members through regular one-to-ones, check-ins and coaching. Set goals and KPIs, and run mid-year and year-end reviews and team meetings. Work with leadership on capacity planning and priorities.
  • Academies and learning series. Oversee planning and execution of the Sales and Service Academies for designated products and seasonal programs such as the Winter Learning Series.
  • Release readiness. Plan and deliver communications and learning for product and platform releases, including release notes, training content and monthly sessions.
  • Internal communications. Manage the development process for three weekly team digests.
  • Tools and process transformation. Lead adoption of new platforms and ways of working, including Highspot content migration and maintenance, the training request intake process and the metrics dashboard.

How you'll partner -

  • Guide a team in building reusable, engaging product training that follows adult learning principles.
  • Apply instructional design expertise and adult learning principles to lead a team who will design, develop and build engaging eLearning and microlearning modules.
  • Lead, coach and develop team members, including goal setting, KPIs and performance conversations.
  • Work as a player-coach, contributing hands-on to content and programs when the team needs it.
  • Oversee planning and delivery of academies and seasonal learning programs.
  • Direct communications and learning for product releases across many initiatives at once, managing timelines, risks and dependencies, and setting priorities when demand exceeds capacity.
  • Ensure recurring team communications are timely, accurate and useful to the people who rely on them.
  • Lead adoption of new platforms and processes, such as HighSpot and SmartSheet, and keep the team's content and work tracking organized.
  • Use data and dashboards to measure results and improve learning and communications.
  • Partner effectively with product, sales, service and operations teams.
  • Encourage the team's use of AI tools to speed up planning and drafting, with human review before anything reaches the IST.

What we're looking for:

  • Seven or more years in enablement, learning and development, internal communications or program management, ideally in education technology or software
  • Three or more years leading or coaching others
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in communications, education, learning and development, business or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Oversight of projects and timelines across multiple workstreams
  • Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Working knowledge of learning and enablement platforms (such as HighSpot or a learning management system) and SmartSheet

Not required, although we'd love to see:

  • Experience leading teams that design and run academies, bootcamps or multi-session learning programs
  • Experience leading adoption of process automation or workflow tools
  • Familiarity with K–8 education, curriculum or assessment products
  • Experience supporting sales or field-facing teams
  • Experience leading teams in using AI tools for planning and content

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
