Job Summary

You will handle container shifting and transferring activities, operate 6-high laden container reach stackers and chassis stackers safely within the container yard, perform equipment checks and maintenance, and follow safety regulations to ensure smooth and safe operations.

Responsibilities

  • Shift and transfer containers within the container yard efficiently to maintain smooth operational flow
  • Conduct daily pre-operation equipment checks and promptly report any defects or safety concern
  • Comply with company operating procedures and workplace safety and health (WSH) requirements
  • Maintain good housekeeping and ensure the work area remains safe and organised
  • Communicate and coordinate with team members to complete assigned tasks and support yard operations
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor to meet operational needs

Job Qualifications & Requirements

  • Possess a valid forklift license for operating forklifts of 5 tons and above
  • Relevant experience in heavy forklift operations, preferably in a logistics, warehouse or container yard environment, would be an advantage
  • Safety-conscious, responsible and able to follow operational instructions and workplace safety procedures
  • Flexible and willing to work extended hours and overtime as required by operational needs.

Other Information

  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6.00pm
