Job Summary

Oversee construction site activities, lead diverse teams, enforce safety standards, manage project documentation, and ensure quality control to deliver projects aligned with schedules and client requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure adherence to the master project schedule
  • Schedule tasks, allocate resources, and manage team performance to maintain productivity and meet project goals
  • Enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on site
  • Manage project documentation including daily site reports, material requisitions, and safety logs to ensure accurate and organized record-keeping
  • Conduct regular quality inspections to verify workmanship meets technical specifications and client expectations
  • Report progress and coordinate with clients and stakeholders using English, Mandarin, and Vietnamese to ensure clear communication for project alignment
  • Utilize basic computer applications such as MS Office to organize and manage digital project documentation efficiently
  • Adapt to a 6-day work week and shift rotations as required by project schedules to maintain continuous site operations
  • Apply problem-solving skills to identify and resolve site issues promptly, maintaining project momentum
  • Demonstrate resilience and communicate effectively to perform under the demands of a fast-paced construction environment

Required competencies and certifications

  • Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Vietnamese for reporting and client coordination
  • Competence in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office) for managing project documentation
  • Ability to work a 6-day work week and commit to shift rotations as required

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • More than 10 years of solid construction industry experience with proven supervisory track record
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and leadership skills to manage teams and site challenges
