Daher’s Industry Division site in Stuart, Florida is a key U.S. manufacturing facility specializing in the assembly of complex metallic and composite aerostructures for major commercial and defense aircraft programs. The site produces large, critical aircraft structures—including wings, fuselage sections, and structural assemblies—for leading aerospace customers such as Boeing and Gulfstream, combining advanced manufacturing, industrialization, and quality driven production processes. As part of Daher’s global Industry Division, the Stuart operation emphasizes safety, precision, and continuous improvement while supporting aerospace production and investing in workforce development, technology, and long-term growth in the North American aerospace market.
Human Resources Manager – Stuart
This role will be critical in supporting Daher’s Industry division client site in Stuart, Florida. You will be the HR Manager and work directly with the Site leadership to develop a local people strategy for the site. This role will report to the global HR leader for the Industry Division and the HR leader for North America.

JOB SUMMARY
Implement human resources programs by providing human resources services, which may include recruiting and staffing, administration of compensation and benefits programs, training and development, employee or labor relations and ensure compliance with applicable labor laws or regulations. Completes personnel transactions and maintains associated records. Collects and analyzes internal and external information in order to compare the organization’s HR practices to those prevailing in the market.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement Group’s HR policy for the Stuart site.
- Work with Site Manager and HR Leadership to develop various HR metrics for effective benchmarking, research, and forecasting.
- Work as a strategic business partner with plant leadership, evaluate the state of human resources in the plant, identify opportunities for improvement and develop & execute a strategic vision for the HR function in the plant focused on aligning HR strategies with the achievement of both functional and plant key performance objectives.
- Manage recruiting and staffing logistics once position has been substantiated and hiring requisition has been approved.
- Ensure recruiting is pursued in a way that complies with applicable laws and Daher’s values.
- Perform audits of programs, recordkeeping standards, and other employment practices to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in recordkeeping requirements related to safety, wellness, and health reporting.
- Participate in employee orientation and separation as needed.
- Participate in the Social responsibility group deployment at the site level.
- Partner with Site Manager to increase employee engagement through various programs / actions (employee surveys, events, speak up culture, etc.).
- Deploy the Group HR processes and policies on site.
- Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for labor union representatives to address grievances, clarify contract language, support CBA negotiation and maintain open lines of communication.
- Manage all employee relations in accordance with Daher policy.
- Communicate with customer regarding HR and security protocols.
- Act as a business partner to all senior managers on site with respect to all HR matters.
- Manages the Site’s HR operations KPI’s.
- Ensure proper flow of information to support payroll production, follow up of PTO, and benefits roll out.
- Manages the site HR budget and keep it under control.
- Manages the HR performance review cycle (appraisals, objectives setting, training/development plans, people review, succession planning, …).
- Manages the annual salary increases and bonus payments.
- Support VP HR, North America on region wide initiatives as needed.
Required Education and experience
- Minimum 10 years HR experience working with a non-exempt workforce
- Minimum 8 years in an HR leadership role
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or similar field of study
- Experience managing a team including team development
- Knowledge of payroll system operations and reporting functions (Workday and UKG)
- Experience with employee relations and conducting employee investigations in a confidential and timely manner
- Experience managing the full life cycle for recruiting, preferably in a warehouse / distribution environment
- Experience developing programs, policies and practices to maintain the company’s compliance with all local employment laws
- Must have excellent Word and Excel skills.
Preferred experience
- Experience with Workday and UKG a plus.
- Experience in a unionized environment
- HR Certification – SHRM
- Experience with conducting an HR Audit for compliance purposes
- Experience with process improvement
- Recent experience working in a global organization
- Experience in the Aerospace industry
Information related to the position:
- Salary range for this position: $120,000-$135,000, plus an annual target bonus (Applies to US-Based candidates only).
- At Daher, our compensation philosophy is anchored to the local labor market and cost of living. Final offers are determined by the candidate geographic location, experience and skillset.
- The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Daher considers a number of factors when determining salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, skills, and current market conditions.
