The posting

**Build software at scale. Influence how we build it. Help shape the next generation of development at Dalux.

**Dalux is growing, and we are looking for experienced software developers who want significant technical ownership while continuing to build software hands-on.

You will work on products used by professionals around the world, contribute to architectural and technical decisions, and help us improve how we develop software – including how we use agentic AI to make capable developers more effective.

**Your role

**As an Experienced Software Developer, you will take ownership of complex product and technical problems from idea to production.

You will work in a product team with other developers, a Product Manager, and a Product Designer. We expect experienced developers to contribute beyond their individual tasks by making good technical decisions, improving our architecture and development practices, and sharing knowledge with others.

Your work can include:

  • Owning complex features and technical problems end-to-end
  • Designing scalable, maintainable solutions and contributing to architectural decisions
  • Improving our codebase, tooling, developer workflows, and technical quality
  • Driving or contributing to initiatives around DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure, architecture, or developer tooling
  • Sparring with and mentoring other developers
  • Working closely with Product Management and Design to understand problems and find the right solutions
  • Bringing new ideas and technologies into Dalux when they can improve our products or how we build them

We expect experienced developers to have opinions, challenge existing solutions, and be comfortable having their own ideas challenged in return.

**Developing software with agentic AI

**We are significantly increasing our use of agentic AI in software development.

We use and explore AI across the development lifecycle – from understanding problems and navigating codebases to implementation, testing, debugging, refactoring, and review.

We are looking for developers who already use agentic AI as part of their development workflow. The specific tools matter less than how you use them: providing the right context and direction, critically evaluating the output, and knowing when to intervene or take a different approach.

Strong engineering fundamentals remain essential. AI can increase what a capable developer can achieve, but you remain responsible for the architecture, correctness, maintainability, and quality of the software you build.

At Dalux, you will help us take these ways of working further by experimenting, sharing what works, and helping establish effective practices for agentic software development.

**Technologies we work with

**Our platform is built on a distributed cloud architecture using AWS. Our primary technologies include:

  • C# / .NET
  • Angular / TypeScript
  • GitHub Copilot
  • MSSQL
  • Elasticsearch
  • AWS
  • Optionally, Android / iOS development using .NET MAUI

You may also encounter parts of our C++ codebase.

Experience with our exact technology stack is useful, but strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to understand and improve complex systems matter more.

**Your background

**We expect that you:

  • Have solid professional software development experience
  • Have at least six months of practical experience using agentic AI as part of your software development workflow
  • Hold a university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related technical field
  • Have strong software engineering fundamentals
  • Are comfortable owning complex technical problems and decisions
  • Can navigate and improve an established codebase and architecture
  • Care about maintainability, reliability, performance, and quality
  • Enjoy technical sparring and sharing knowledge with other developers
  • Understand the trade-offs between short-term delivery and long-term technical quality

Experience with C#/.NET, Angular, or cloud development is useful, but we do not expect you to match every technology we use.
