Platform-/Hellingmedewerker & Shovelmachinist

Over de functie

Als Platform-/Hellingmedewerker & Shovelmachinist houd je je bezig met het droogzetten, tewaterlaten en slepen van schepen. Daarnaast transporteer je schepen over het platform met behulp van een shovel. Je werkt volgens mondelinge opdrachten van leidinggevenden en/of collega’s uit de ploeg. Bij twijfel overleg je met je leidinggevende.

Werken bij Damen Shiprepair Harlingen Damen Shiprepair Harlingen, onderdeel van de divisie Damen Shiprepair & Conversion, is een middelgrote werf die zich richt op reparatie, onderhoud en ombouwprojecten van uiteenlopende typen schepen tot 120 meter.

Onze werf bestaat uit ongeveer 60 medewerkers. We zijn een kleine en flexibele organisatie waar hard wordt gewerkt, maar ook veel wordt gelachen. Wij bieden een informele werkomgeving waar geen dag hetzelfde is en waar je samenwerkt met betrokken collega's die allen dezelfde passie delen: het repareren van schepen!

Taken en verantwoodelijkheden

  • Je bedient de shovel en verplaatst schepen van en naar de lift, zodat ze op de juiste plek op het platform komen te staan.
  • Je helpt bij het meren, ontmeren, in- en uitdokken, droogzetten en tewaterlaten van schepen.
  • Je maakt het platform, dok en transportmiddelen gereed, onder andere door hellingwagens, loopbruggen, dokbruggen, trappen, stutten en schoren te plaatsen.
  • Je werkt met staaldraden, trossen, kettingen en lieren en geeft waar nodig instructies aan sleepboten bij droogzetting, tewaterlating en sectietransport.
  • Je voert onderhoud uit aan onder andere lieren, kettingen, bewegende delen, transportmateriaal, hijsmiddelen, lift, platformlieren, pontons en werkbakken.
  • Je signaleert en meldt gebreken, voert dagelijks onderhoud uit en zorgt mede voor een opgeruimd en veilig bedrijfsterrein.

Wij bieden

  • Een bruto salaris tussen € 3.000,-- en € 4.200,-- op basis van een fulltime dienstverband en afhankelijk van relevante ervaring.

Jij beschikt over:

  • Een MBO – niveau 2-3 diploma richting nautische of technische kant
  • Een geldige VCA Basis diploma
  • Een heftruckcertificaat
  • Teamspirit en een collegiale instelling
  • Een goede spreek en begrijpvaardigheid van de Nederlandse taal, in verband met het gebruik van de marifoon.
