Our team is dedicated to delivering end-to-end software support across all of Dandy’s product lines. Our teams collaborate across the company to ensure customers have an amazing experience at every stage: ordering, manufacturing, and support.

We are looking for motivated Software Engineering Interns to join our team. Our engineers have a high level of ownership, and you will have the opportunity to dive into unfamiliar code bases, debug real-world processes, and help launch novel-to-industry products.

What You’ll Do

As a Software Engineering Intern at Dandy, you will:

- Contribute to building and maintaining core ordering flows used by our end customers every day.

- Work across any layer of the stack (frontend, backend, infra, data) to help ship end-to-end product experiences.

- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, operations teams, and CAD designers to support the launch of innovative new products.

- Dig in and learn the intricacies of the dental restoratives market—you will know more about dentures than you ever imagined!

What We’re Looking For

- Currently pursuing an MS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

- Foundational experience in web development with an eagerness to work in a production TypeScript, React, and GraphQL environment.

- A high level of autonomy, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to comfortably navigate ambiguity and unfamiliar areas of a codebase.

- Familiarity with our specific stack (NestJS, TypeORM, Electron) is a bonus, but not required.

- Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the Dandy office in New York City, 3x days per week.
