The posting

Join our Institutional Sales team as an FX Sales Associate and discover what it means to work at the heart of financial markets. You will develop and support client relationships with some of the largest pension funds and financial institutions in Denmark while gaining daily exposure to foreign exchange, fixed income and macroeconomic developments. This role offers a clear path towards becoming a trusted client adviser in our collaborative trading floor environment.

You do not need to be a seasoned FX salesperson, but you should be curious, commercially minded, proactive and eager to learn.

What you will be doing

As an FX Sales Associate, you will support and gradually take ownership of client relationships across our Institutional segment. At the same time, we expect you to work across segments and be able to cover corporates and SMEs as well.

You will become part of a dynamic team where no two days are the same. Markets move constantly, client needs evolve, and success depends on combining market insight with client needs and commercial execution.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Institutional clients.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Contribute to growing the FX franchise and expanding client activity.
  • Deliver market insights and relevant macroeconomic perspectives to clients.
  • Advise clients on FX risk management, hedging strategies, and market developments.
  • Collaborate closely with Trading, Research, and other Markets specialists.
  • Support clients across segments, including SMEs and Corporate customers.
  • Stay informed on global macro developments, central bank actions, geopolitical events, and investment trends that may impact clients.

We are looking for someone who

  • Has experience from Markets, Asset Management, Research, Investment Banking, or a related area.
  • Has a strong interest in FX markets and risk management. Experience with FX products is a clear advantage.
  • Is commercially minded and enjoys winning new business.
  • Thrives in a client-facing environment and enjoys building long-term relationships.
  • Is proactive, self-driven, and comfortable reaching out to clients.
  • Has a genuine curiosity about macroeconomics, investments, financial markets, and current events.
  • Can translate market developments into relevant client conversations.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
  • Speaks and writes Danish and English fluently.

It is a plus if you

  • Have experience from an economic or financial research function.
  • Have experience working with institutional investors or financial institutions.
  • Have knowledge of derivatives, fixed income, asset allocation, or portfolio management.
  • Have experience presenting market views or client-facing analysis.
