About us Dashmote is a start-up focusing on the next generation of data products powered by AI technology, with offices in Amsterdam (HQ) and Shanghai. We connect the offline and online worlds by decoding the digital footprint of locations, allowing our enterprise clients to understand the market and make smarter decisions. Dashmote has ambitious plans in the upcoming years, and therefore, we need to make sure that we have the right people in place to put such plans into practice. Main responsibilities

  • Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Scrapy sourcing project.
  • Responsible for data cleaning and data extraction.
  • Web page or mobile app data sourcing, data development as per requirements
  • Ability to deliver data with quality on time
  • Day-to-day communications across the team to ensure a smooth delivery.

Your background

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering or related field
  • Familiar with Python; experience with SQL and NoSQL technologies is preferred
  • Familiar with web sourcing principles, HTTP protocols, and understand common anti-sourcing principles
  • Proficiency in requests, Scrapy, BS4, Xpath, regex, etc
  • Familiar with data cleansing, and able to use Pandas for data processing
  • Understand version control tools (e.g. git) and database management systems (Mysql)
  • Proficiency in English is preferred
  • Familiarity with mobile app data sourcing is preferred
  • Willing to learn and master new skills in a short period
  • Can independently solve the problems encountered in development
