Description

Come build the future of finance with Datarails. We're a global, AI-powered FinanceOS company helping finance teams transform the way they work. By combining intelligent automation, AI, and seamless integrations with the tools finance teams already know and trust, we empower organizations to make faster, smarter decisions with confidence. With approximately 350 employees worldwide, we're building the next generation of finance technology - where innovation, collaboration, and customer success go hand in hand.

If you're looking for a fantastic opportunity to join a growing startup in a role with massive impact, we would love to meet you!

This position is 100% remote, based anywhere in the United States. No sponsorship or relocation assistance is available.

About the role

Datarails is looking for a Sr. Customer Education Manager to own the strategy, structure, and governance of our customer-facing content ecosystem. This is an individual contributor role for someone who thinks like a systems builder: someone who sees a growing library of decks, guides, templates, and playbooks and immediately starts asking how it should be organized, maintained, and scaled.

You'll be the person who turns scattered content into infrastructure. You'll partner closely with CSMs, Product, Sales, and Product Marketing to make sure every customer-facing asset is accurate, on-brand, easy to find, and built to last.

What You’ll Do

  • Own governance of the existing customer enablement content library: audit what exists, retire wha'ts stale, and set standards for what gets added.
  • Build repeatable frameworks for how content gets created, reviewed, versioned, and retired.
  • Partner with CSMs to identify content gaps in the customer journey and prioritize what to build next.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Product Marketing to keep enablement content aligned with product changes and messaging.
  • Define and maintain content standards (structure, tone, branding, accessibility) across the library.
  • Create scalable systems (taxonomies, templates, tagging, intake processes) so the library stays organized as it grows.
  • Track content usage and effectiveness, and use that data to inform what is working and what needs to change.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in customer enablement, content strategy, or a related customer success function.
  • Proven experience building or overhauling a content library or knowledge base from the ground up.
  • Strong instincts for structure and governance: you don't just create content, you build the system that keeps it useful.
  • Comfortable working independently and driving a strategic function without a team underneath you.
  • Excellent written communication and an eye for polished, customer-ready material.
  • Experience partnering across CS, Product, Sales, and Marketing functions
  • Bonus: experience in FP&A, SaaS, or B2B software environments.

Why this role

This isn't a maintenance job. It's a chance to build the infrastructure that shapes how every customer experiences Datarails through content, long after the initial sale. If you're the kind of person who gets energized by systems, structure, and making things easier to find and use at scale, this is the role built for that.

What We Offer

  • A collaborative, team-oriented environment, the ability to own your schedule (work your local time zone), and the opportunity to grow at Datarails over many years
  • Base compensation - The target base salary range will be between $100k and $125k USD per year, based on multiple factors including prior experience, skills, and location. We are open to candidates with varying levels of experience.
  • Meaningful equity
  • 401(k) plan with up to 4% match and HSA & FSA Options
  • 100% paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and 100% paid medical and 80% paid dental and vision coverage for dependents
  • $540/year toward glasses, sunglasses, or contact lenses from XP Health for employees enrolled in any Guardian Vision plan
  • Calm app membership
  • Paternity leave
  • Flexible, unlimited sick time and PTO (we recommend 18-25 vacation days annually)
  • 12 paid company holidays
  • Life insurance
  • CPA/CFA license renewal reimbursement

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
