The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Risk Adjustment Operations Senior Project Analyst based in the United States.

The Risk Adjustment Operations Senior Project Analyst will play a key role in optimizing project delivery, vendor performance, and resource planning across a portfolio of healthcare operations projects. This analytical position combines forecasting, capacity modeling, and performance reporting to provide leadership with clear, actionable insights. You will partner closely with Finance, Operations, and project teams to anticipate staffing needs, monitor project progress, and identify potential risks before they affect delivery. Using advanced Excel, business intelligence tools, and data-driven methodologies, you will improve forecasting accuracy and support informed operational decisions. The role also offers opportunities to standardize reporting practices, strengthen data integrity, and drive continuous process improvement. This is a remote, full-time opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Build and maintain project pacing trackers to monitor progress, milestones, timelines, and delivery performance by vendor.
  • Develop and manage multi-platform forecasting models to project workloads, volumes, timelines, and resource requirements across concurrent projects.
  • Partner with Finance to develop capacity planning models, determine headcount requirements, and account for downtime and idle capacity.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel, Sigma, or comparable business intelligence tools to provide leadership with timely visibility into project and vendor performance.
  • Analyze vendor throughput and capacity against forecasted volumes, identifying discrepancies and escalating concerns proactively.
  • Identify trends, bottlenecks, operational risks, and forecasting variances, recommending corrective actions to improve performance.
  • Conduct scenario planning and what-if analyses to support staffing decisions, capacity allocation, and operational planning.
  • Collaborate with project managers, vendor management teams, Finance, and Operations stakeholders to align assumptions, forecasts, and reporting outputs.
  • Support headcount planning and staffing reviews in partnership with Finance and Operations leadership.
  • Monitor downtime and resource utilization trends, incorporating findings into forecasting and staffing models.
  • Maintain data accuracy and consistency across project tracking, forecasting, and capacity planning systems.
  • Document forecasting methodologies, data sources, assumptions, and processes to ensure transparency and auditability.
  • Develop standardized reporting templates and improve tracking methodologies to strengthen consistency and forecasting accuracy.
  • Present project pacing, capacity, and forecasting insights to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Respond to ad hoc analytical requests from Finance, Operations, and executive leadership.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance project tracking, forecasting, and operational effectiveness.
  • Travel for business as needed, up to 10%.
  • Bachelor's degree or at least five years of equivalent experience in project analytics, business analytics, or a related analytical field.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial or operational modeling.
  • Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Demonstrated experience developing forecasting models and/or capacity planning models.
  • Experience partnering with Finance or Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) teams on headcount planning, staffing, and capacity modeling.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to investigate root causes of project pacing, capacity, and forecasting variances and recommend effective solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex findings clearly to leadership.
  • Ability to work independently, follow instructions, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
  • Flexibility to accommodate departmental scheduling needs.
  • Working knowledge of business computer hardware and software, with an understanding of data quality, effectiveness, and security.
  • Experience with healthcare operations or the healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with risk adjustment methodologies.
  • Formal project planning or project management experience, with a PMP, CAPM, or similar certification.
  • Experience with SQL or other data querying languages.
  • Estimated total cash compensation: $103,000–$121,000 USD. Actual compensation may vary depending on the level of responsibility, skills, experience, and other role-specific factors.
  • Full-time, remote work opportunity within the United States.
  • Opportunity to contribute to healthcare data operations and projects that support more secure, accessible, and actionable health information.
  • Collaborative work environment with cross-functional teams across Finance, Operations, project management, and vendor management.
  • Opportunity to develop expertise in forecasting, capacity planning, operational analytics, and healthcare risk adjustment.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
