The posting

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a family office managing a diverse portfolio of companies, that is seeking to onboard an Accountant to join its team on a full-time basis

This is an opportunity to join an established and supportive family office environment, offering long-term stability, professional development and exposure to a variety of international companies. The successful candidate is responsible for maintaining accounting records, preparing management accounts, handling VAT returns and performing regular financial reconciliations

Position: Accountant

Location: Limassol, Cyprus

Work model: On site

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accounting records for companies registered in the British Virgin Islands (BVI), Cyprus and the Marshall Islands
  • Prepare management accounts for BVI-registered companies
  • Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations
  • Manage petty cash payments and ensure all transactions are properly documented
  • Carry out additional accounting duties and projects as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or another relevant field
  • 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Proficiency in SAP and CaseWare is essential
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent time-management and organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
