The posting

Are you skilled in creating, planning, uploading and managing website content? Can you do light video editing? Do you have a knack for creating engaging social media content?

Do you want hands-on experience in an international NGO environment? Then we have an exciting opportunity for you as an intern at DanChurchAid headquarter in Copenhagen.

About the Position As an International Communications Intern, you will join a dynamic and ambitious team working on press relations, political advocacy in Denmark, and international communication with key partners and donors such as the EU, UN, and Danish and international foundations.

Our team manages www.danchurchaid.org and multiple English-language social media channels while collaborating closely with our 19 country offices worldwide.

Together, we produce stories and document the results of our humanitarian and development work globally.

You’ll contribute by:

  • Advising and collaborating with colleagues from offices in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa on video production, text creation, and graphic design for their channels.
  • Creating high-quality content for www.danchurchaid.org and other DCA platforms, including news and feature articles, videos, and social media posts.
  • Develop web themes for www.danchurchaid.org that bring together content from across countries – similar to the Humanitarian Mine Action theme: https://www.danchurchaid.org/what-we-do/danchurchaid-humanitarian-mine-action
  • Supporting strategic communication efforts in collaboration with the General Secretariat team.
  • You’ll work closely with dedicated staff and two other interns focusing on climate and political advocacy.

What you’ll gain As an intern, you’ll experience a busy, fast-paced environment where you’ll gain insight into strategic communication and production processes.

You’ll be part of everyday work that blends politics, press, and content creation, and you’ll contribute directly to meaningful projects that showcase the impact of DanChurchAid’s work.

Your Qualifications We are looking for an English and Danish speaking candidate with one or more of the following qualifications:

  • Is proficient in Premiere Pro, WordPress, and photo editing tools.
  • Has a proactive, creative approach to social media production
  • Keen interest in global humanitarian and development work

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
