The posting

Why join this Team?

This is a role where you'll have genuine impact from day one. Rather than simply handing work off to others, you'll take ownership of what you build all the way through to production, working closely with the Sales and Deal Desk teams and seeing first-hand how your solutions drive the business forward.

You'll have the opportunity to deepen your expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud and CPQ, with hands-on mentorship from experienced Solution Architects and senior developers who are invested in your growth. As part of a growing and highly visible team, you'll gain exposure to complex Quote-to-Cash processes, develop in-demand platform engineering skills, and benefit from a clear progression path into senior technical and architecture-focused roles.

About the Role

We are hiring a Salesforce Developer to join our Salesforce engineering team in Madrid, focused on Sales Cloud and Salesforce CPQ. You will build and support the tools our global sales, sales operations, and deal desk teams use every day — from lead and opportunity management through configuring, pricing, and quoting complex hardware, software, and support offerings.

We are looking for a builder with a bias for action — someone who picks up an ambiguous request from a sales or deal desk stakeholder, figures out what actually needs to happen, and ships it. If you would rather go get things done than wait for a fully groomed ticket, you will do well here. This role offers a clear path into our senior Quote-to-Cash and platform engineering roles.

What You'll Do

- Build and maintain Sales Cloud solutions — leads, accounts, contacts, opportunities, products and price books, forecasting, territory management, and sales process automation — using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and configuration.

- Configure and extend Salesforce CPQ: product catalog and bundles, product rules, price rules, discount schedules, quote templates, and approval workflows (including Advanced Approvals).

- Support the opportunity-to-quote-to-order flow, including renewals, amendments, and contract lifecycle within CPQ.

- Own features end-to-end — shape the requirement with Sales Ops, Deal Desk, and Finance stakeholders, build it, test it, deploy it, and support it in production.

- Partner with Solution Architects and Staff / Senior Developers on solution design, design reviews, and code reviews — bring options and trade-offs, execute the agreed approach, and uphold quality standards including unit test coverage.

- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and ERP, billing, and other enterprise systems, and extend, configure, and troubleshoot AppExchange managed packages within their supported boundaries.

- Collaborate with our dedicated integration / middleware team (who own MuleSoft, Boomi, and Workato) to design contracts and troubleshoot cross-system flows.

- Own your own deployments through Git, SFDX, and our CI/CD pipeline (Gearset or Copado).

- Share production support for the Sales Cloud and CPQ stack — investigate quote calculation issues, pricing edge cases, and integration failures, and drive root-cause fixes.

- Use AI tools (e.g., Agentforce Vibes / vibe coding, Copilot, Claude) as part of your day-to-day workflow — we expect every engineer on the team to lean on AI to ship faster and better.

Required Qualifications

- 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with at least 2+ years working hands-on with Salesforce CPQ (formerly Steelbrick).

- Strong Sales Cloud knowledge — opportunity management, products and price books, quotes, forecasting, territory and account structures, and sales process automation.

- Hands-on Salesforce CPQ experience: bundle configuration (features, options, option constraints), pricing (price rules, lookup tables, summary variables, block and contracted pricing), product rules, discount schedules, quote templates, and quote-to-order / renewal / amendment flows.

- Strong, production-grade Apex skills — triggers, async patterns (batch, queueable, future, scheduled), governor-limit-aware design, and SOQL/SOSL — including awareness of CPQ package behavior (e.g., quote calculator, trigger control) when writing custom code.

- Solid hands-on experience building Lightning Web Components, plus working knowledge of Aura and Visualforce for maintaining existing code.

- Strong Salesforce Flow and declarative automation skills, with good judgment on when to build declaratively versus with code.

- Sound data model and security fundamentals — custom objects, relationships, record types, sharing model, profiles, and permission sets.

- Hands-on experience building custom integrations — REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, named credentials, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and Bulk/Streaming APIs — including error handling, retry, and logging patterns.

- Experience with Git, SFDX, and Salesforce CI/CD and release tooling such as Gearset or Copado.

- A get-it-done mindset: you take an under-specified problem, drive it to clarity yourself, and ship. You follow up, close loops, and do not need to be chased.

- Strong collaboration and communication skills — comfortable with Solution Architects, developers, and administrators, and equally comfortable translating a sales or finance stakeholder's words into a working solution.

- Fluency in English, written and verbal — our team and stakeholders operate in English globally.

Required Certifications

- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I

- Salesforce Certified Administrator

Preferred Certifications

Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist, Sales Cloud Consultant, Platform Developer II, Platform App Builder, Agentforce Specialist, or Revenue Cloud Consultant Accredited Professional.

Nice to Have

- Experience at a hardware, storage, networking, or enterprise software company — especially one with a channel / partner sales motion (partner quoting, deal registration, distributor pricing).

- Exposure to Salesforce Revenue Cloud / Revenue Lifecycle Management, Salesforce Billing, or subscription and recurring-revenue models.

- Hands-on experience with managed packages we run today — Salesforce CPQ (SBQQ), Advanced Approvals (sbaa), Conga Composer, Salesforce for Slack, Vartopia — or comparable AppExchange packages, including package upgrades and release regression testing.

- Experience with multi-dimensional quoting (MDQ), co-terming, and complex renewal scenarios.

- Familiarity with the middleware platforms we use today (MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato) and with integrating Salesforce to ERP or billing systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Zuora).

- Experience with CLM tools (Conga CLM, DocuSign CLM) or tax engines (Avalara, Vertex).

- Prior hands-on use of AI development tools (Agentforce Vibes, vibe coding, Copilot, Claude) in a Salesforce context, including Agentforce agents, actions, or prompt templates for sales and quoting use cases.

- Additional European language skills, including Spanish, are welcome but not required.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
