Jobomschrijving

Stel je voor: je staat midden in een stelplaats waar een elektrische bus nét een foutmelding geeft. Techniekers zoeken de oorzaak, reizigers rekenen op een tijdige rit en jij bent degene die de puzzel legt. De expert die begrijpt hoe moderne voertuigen écht in elkaar zitten — van vermogenselektronica tot sensoren en communicatie­systemen.

Waarom deze rol bestaat

De Lijn evolueert snel richting een elektrische vloot. Dat brengt nieuwe technologie, nieuwe uitdagingen en een grote nood aan mensen die voertuigtechniek doorgronden.

We stappen volledig over op elektrische bussen, tegen 2035 beschikken we over een vloot van meer dan 2000 elektrische voertuigen. Dat vraagt om specifieke, diepgaande kennis en ‘een team met experten’ om alles in goede banen te leiden.

Als deskundige heb je een cruciale rol binnen dit team.

Jouw impact op de mobiliteit van morgen

Jij wordt het aanspreekpunt voor complexe technische vraagstukken op autobussen.

  • Je onderzoekt nieuwe processen om onze voertuigsystemen beter te beheren
  • Je voert diepgaand onderzoek uit naar veelvuldig voorkomende technische problemen.
  • Je beheert nieuwe software en diagnosetools en zet in op remote diagnostics.
  • Je analyseert storingen en ondersteunt onze technici

Je doet dit door:

  • Diepgaande diagnoses uit te voeren op voertuigen: elektrische aandrijflijnen, vermogenselektronica, sensoren, converter- en inverterproblemen.
  • Storingen te analyseren waarbij data, symptomen en praktijkervaring samenkomen.
  • Herstel- vs. vervangingsbeslissingen te nemen op componentniveau.
  • Te adviseren over onderhoudsstrategieën en standaarden voor elektrische voertuigen.
  • Technische inhoud van bestekken, contracten en projecten mee vorm te geven.
  • Leveranciers op te volgen en kwaliteitscontroles uit te voeren.
  • Techniekers te ondersteunen en op te leiden waar nodig, zodat kennis duurzaam verankerd wordt.

Wie ben jij?

Je hebt een achtergrond in voertuigtechniek, aangevuld met sterke kennis van elektriciteit en elektronica op voertuigen.

Je herkent jezelf in dit profiel:

  • Je beschikt idealiter over een van de volgende masterdiploma’s:Industriële Wetenschappen – ElektromechanicaIndustriële Wetenschappen – Elektronica-ICTElektrische/Elektrotechnische IngenieurswetenschappenAutomotive Engineering / Automotive TechnologyToegepaste Ingenieurswetenschappen – Elektromechanica of Elektronica

Ook mogelijk, mits aantoonbare voertuigervaring:

  • Master Werktuigkunde
  • Master Mechatronica
  • Je hebt ervaring met elektrische bussen, trams of vergelijkbare elektrische voertuigen.
  • Je kan foutmeldingen en elektrische storingen analyseren tot op componentniveau.
  • Vermogenselektronica (inverters, converters, laadmodules) is voor jou geen onbekend terrein.
  • Je begrijpt systemen zoals retibo, KAR, radio, cEMV of bent in staat je die snel eigen te maken.
  • Je voelt je thuis in een werkplaatsomgeving en spreekt dezelfde taal als techniekers.
  • Je werkt veilig, nauwkeurig en volgens regelgeving (AREI, veiligheidsvoorschriften).
  • Je communiceert duidelijk: technisch wanneer nodig, begrijpelijk wanneer het moet.
