Ben jij goed met financiën en wil je je inzetten voor mensen die dit hard nodig hebben? Als vrijwilliger financieel spreekuur help je mensen met hun financiële vragen en problemen draag je bij aan hun financiële stabiliteit. Je werkt vanuit een van onze locaties en je krijgt ondersteuning en begeleiding door een collega.

Onze spreekuren zijn op het Elandplein (dinsdag en donderdag), de Paranadreef (maandag) en de Socrateslaan (woensdag). Daarnaast willen we nieuwe twee nieuwe spreekuren, waarvan één in Leidsche Rijn. Tijden in overleg

Wat ga je doen

Als financieel vrijwilliger zet je je in voor financiële stabiliteit van bewoners. Je hebt vanuit de theorie voldoende kennis op het gebied van financiën en minima om de cliënt te kunnen bijstaan of bent bereid hiervoor kennis op te doen. Hiervoor is de mogelijkheid om scholing te volgen via de Tussenvoorziening. Je bent geïnteresseerd en betrokken en staat niet veroordelend tegenover mensen die andere keuzes maken dan jij.

Concreet betekent dit bijvoorbeeld:

  • Inwoners ondersteunen met hun financiële vragen: uitkeringen, belastingen, toeslagen, schulden of gemeentelijke regelingen
  • Schrijven van bezwaar- of verzoekschriften
  • Informatie inwinnen bij externe partijen

Wat krijg je van ons?

Als financieel vrijwilliger maak je een wezenlijk verschil in het leven van mensen die zich in een moeilijke situatie bevinden. Je werkt in een uitdagende omgeving waar je veel kunt leren. Bovendien ontwikkel je jezelf verder door de praktijkgerichte scholing en begeleiding die je via de Tussenvoorziening kunt volgen.

  • Praktijkgerichte scholing en begeleiding om je rol optimaal te vervullen
  • Werkervaring in het sociaal juridische domein, wat goed staat op je cv
  • Regelmatige activiteiten en workshops om jezelf verder te ontwikkelen en nieuwe inzichten op te doen

Wat neem je mee?

  • Je hebt affiniteit met het werken met kwetsbare personen en bent onbevooroordeeld
  • Je kunt zelfstandig werken en bent resultaat- en oplossingsgericht
  • Je kunt prioriteiten stellen en bent duidelijk in je communicatie
  • Je beheerst de Nederlandse taal goed, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk
  • Je bent bereid om scholing en begeleidingsbijeenkomsten te volgen
  • Je kunt een Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag (VOG) aanvragen (de kosten worden vergoed)
