Requirements

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Min. Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent).
  • 5–8 years of experience in commercial law, preferably within a law firm or multinational corporation.
  • Passion for sports
  • Proven track record of partnering with business development leaders to advise on commercial agreements.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and strong critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI tools for legal workflows.
  • Highly autonomous and decisive with a confident executive presence.
  • Clear, concise, and persuasive communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success collaborating across cross-functional business units.

Job Description

1. Project Legal Assessment & Feasibility

  • Gather all necessary information and documentation for real estate projects.
  • Assess legal feasibility and identify potential risks for real estate and business development projects.
  • Analyze legal feasibility for green building initiatives and aligned expansion projects.
  • Ensure total alignment with local project visions, corporate real estate policy, governance standards, and global legal frameworks.
  • Leverage digital technologies, AI tools, and specialized software to evaluate and communicate real estate data effectively.

2. Strategic Legal Advice & Structuring

  • Define and propose optimal deal structures for real estate development.
  • Offer actionable risk-mitigation solutions regarding zoning, permit requirements, contract formatting, and execution timing.
  • Draft, update, and manage legal documentation throughout the contract lifecycle until project opening.
  • Lead, support, and participate in complex real estate contract negotiations.
  • Maintain accurate records and archive documentation within real estate tools (including POD and LDS) to guarantee data completeness.

3. Legal Compliance & Risk Management

  • Prepare LOIs, POAs, framework contracts, and amendments containing clauses verified by legal experts and compliant with governance standards.
  • Verify that all executed agreements reflect investment committee decisions and remain fully enforceable against third parties.
  • Monitor lease deadlines, renewals, and Green Building Act compliance, providing timely support to stakeholders.
  • Select, direct, and oversee external law firms, managing litigation processes and tracking fee consumption.
  • Train and guide internal leaders on real estate legal procedures, governance, and compliance standards.
