The posting
About us:
Founded by former Google search engineers with PhDs in AI from ETH Zurich, DeepJudge helps legal teams unlock and apply the knowledge inside their organizations through world-class enterprise search and AI infrastructure – enabling them to automate workflows, build knowledge-powered applications, and turn institutional knowledge into a lasting advantage.
Every organization can license the same AI models, but no two organizations share the same institutional knowledge. Decades of experience, work product, and precedent are often fragmented across systems, underused, and inaccessible. DeepJudge makes this expertise instantly available and actionable – helping legal teams find the right information faster, surface relevant knowledge, and apply it where it matters most.
Our platform is trusted by many of the world’s leading law firms and legal teams, including Holland & Knight, Gunderson Dettmer, Cozen O’Connor, ArentFox Schiff, CMS Switzerland, Schoenherr, and others.
Headquartered in Switzerland with a growing team across North America and Europe, DeepJudge is shaping the future of how professional knowledge is discovered and applied.
At DeepJudge, we move with urgency, think rigorously, and work closely with our clients to build products that solve meaningful problems. If you want to help define how AI transforms professional knowledge work, we’d love to hear from you.
About the role:
We’re looking for a hands-on and strategically minded Product Manager to take the reins of our assistant surfaces and agent harness at DeepJudge. You’ll play a critical role in shaping the present and future of our platform by driving immediate impact across our go-to-market priorities while also thinking deeply about where we go next.
This is an opportunity to lead product in a high-caliber environment where you're empowered to innovate, move fast, and deliver real value to legal professionals at some of the most sophisticated law firms and legal departments in the world. This is an on-site role based in Zurich. You will report to the Head of Product.
We’re not building another AI wrapper. We’re building a product with real depth, differentiated by data access, search engine expertise, and deep customer understanding. Chat is quickly becoming the interface of choice, and we’re now moving towards long-horizon agentic tasks – right at the cutting edge of what’s proven in the market. We’re looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, is energized by the opportunity to create, and knows how to “cook from scratch” — not just follow the norm.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Own product strategy, roadmap and execution across our Agentic Surfaces and Harness, powering DeepJudge’s advanced AI reasoning features, with a strong focus on prioritization, user impact, and business value
- Evolve our chat interface to make sure the user experience is the best fit for our target use cases
- Prioritize feature requests across customers, vertical product areas and new strategic initiatives, balancing short-term go-to-market optimization with long-term discovery and strategic vision
- Evolve our evaluation datasets and infrastructure to continuously improve our ability to take launch decisions with confidence
- Assess the speed, quality and cost profile of model or harness changes and drive decision-making across tech and product leadership
- Proactively identify new technologies and follow the latest agentic AI trends to drive efficiency and performance of complex, long-horizon tasks
- Work directly with engineering leads to define and ship high-quality features fast
- Collaborate with Design and Product Marketing to craft delightful and intuitive user experiences
- Engage deeply with customers and prospects to gather insights, validate ideas, and translate feedback into roadmap priorities – combining direct feedback with scaled usage analysis to understand how our products are used, and sharing those learnings across the organization
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that drive adoption, engagement, and measurable value for our users
- Take ownership of product decision-making across our agentic product area
You're a great fit if you:
- Have strong product instincts and 5+ years of experience in digital product management, with a track record of building and launching impactful B2B SaaS products
- Have hands-on experience building and shipping agentic applications and RAG systems – going beyond basic chatbot or AI workflow features
- Have a deep understanding of agent evaluation techniques and have built or evolved evaluation datasets and processes before
- Are familiar with the latest agentic AI trends and concepts – and keep following them
- Are comfortable leading in a dynamic, fast-paced environment — from writing specs to running discovery calls to shipping fast
- Think holistically about user problems, systems, and long-term platform value
- Are humble, curious, and opinionated in the right ways — you seek input but aren’t afraid to take a stand
- Don’t just follow frameworks or "best practices" — you know when to break them
- Are energized by having a lot of ownership and working closely with smart, mission-driven teammates
- Are able to work on-site from our Zurich office
- Bonus: You have legal domain familiarity, or experience in search and knowledge management, agentic search and data retrieval, or LegalTech – or you’ve worked in/with law firms, legal departments, or regulated industries
What you can look forward to:
- A high-impact role in shaping a product and company with huge potential
- The chance to work on the cutting edge of long-horizon agentic AI, applied to real-world legal work
- A strong, technical, and collaborative team that’s serious about building great software
- A culture that encourages experimentation, curiosity, and thoughtful decision-making
Submit your application by October 16th. Our team will review all candidates after the closing date and reach out regarding next steps.
