The posting

Big Walnut Local School District is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill a High School Counselor (CCP/Testing) position at Big Walnut High School beginning the 2022.2023 school year.

Job Goals:

  • Collaborate with high school administration, secondary school counselors, and district leadership to develop a program to assist students in a successful transition from middle school to high school to post-secondary education/ employment
  • Help students and parents understand their choices for successful transitions
  • Provide information and direction regarding career and educational services available
  • Responsible for the coordination and management of college and career programs, and College Credit Plus
  • Coordinate all standardized testing at the HS level (this includes: EOC testing, state mandated ACT, AP, PSAT, and Accuplacer)

Qualifications: To be considered, you must have appropriate State of Ohio licensure for this position. Also, must provide current and clear BCI/FBI background checks.
