Summary Delta Star Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Technician IV to support the reliability, safety, and performance of our facilities and production equipment. This role is responsible for advanced troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance, and facility support across multiple trades, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, welding, HVAC, and fabrication. What You’ll Do As a Maintenance Technician IV, you’ll perform advanced maintenance and repair work on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems. You’ll troubleshoot complex issues, execute preventive maintenance plans, support equipment installations and modifications, and serve as a technical resource for the maintenance team. Your work will directly contribute to equipment reliability, workplace safety, and operational efficiency. A Day in the Life Your day may include troubleshooting an electrical control issue, repairing a hydraulic system, performing preventive maintenance on production equipment, or fabricating replacement parts for critical machinery. You’ll work across multiple systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and facility infrastructure. You’ll also help train less experienced maintenance technicians, document maintenance activities, and collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance. Specific Duties
Perform preventative maintenance and advanced repairs on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures to determine root causes and corrective actions. Monitor equipment performance, safety, and operational effectiveness. Perform equipment failure analysis and unscheduled maintenance activities. Document repairs, equipment modifications, and maintenance activities in designated systems. Perform maintenance work utilizing skills in welding, machining, sheet metal fabrication, carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, and automotive repair. Design, construct, modify, and install equipment and systems as needed. Support building systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, compressed air, and hydraulic systems. Install, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility infrastructure. Perform preventative maintenance activities on all assigned equipment and machinery. Fabricate replacement parts when required. Safely operate overhead cranes and mobile cranes. Provide support and technical guidance to lower‑level maintenance personnel. Train and mentor maintenance employees on troubleshooting, repair techniques, and safe work practices. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards. Report major equipment or facility issues to the Maintenance Supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned.

High school diploma, GED, technical certification, or equivalent experience preferred. Demonstrated experience in industrial maintenance environments. Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems required. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. Strong mechanical aptitude and plumbing experience. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
