SAP PP Consultant

SAP PP Consultant will be part of the Manufacturing IT Global Team responsible for the SAP modules PP in KION Group IT. The person will take the responsibility for customizing and supporting of SAP PP in the production area, having a significant contribution to the IT Services delivered by KION Group IT, as well as the development of the newly created KION IT Service Hub in Monterrey.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will Do in This Role

• Support, maintain, and further develop SAP Production Planning (PP) applications for KION Group brands.
• Configure and customize SAP PP solutions according to manufacturing and business requirements.
• Analyze production-planning requirements and translate them into functional SAP solutions.
• Design, realize, and implement SAP PP standards and customer-specific solutions.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of SAP PP solutions within production environments.
• Participate in troubleshooting and application-support activities related to SAP PP.
• Support and contribute to international SAP PP rollouts across KION locations.
• Participate in international projects and take ownership of assigned project activities.
• Create and maintain system and process documentation, including documentation of developments, configurations, and adaptations.
• Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions and internal training when required.
• Collaborate with global IT teams, production stakeholders, and other SAP functional teams.

What We’re Looking For

• 2–3 years of relevant professional experience working with SAP PP, SAP Production Planning, or a closely related SAP functional area.
• Hands-on experience with SAP PP configuration and customizing.
• Experience supporting or implementing SAP PP solutions.
• Understanding of production planning and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PP solutions.
• Experience with SAP application support, troubleshooting, or continuous improvement activities.
• Understanding of SAP PP processes and their integration within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with international and cross-functional teams.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and spoken.
