The posting

DEMO S.A. is seeking an experienced Design & Construction Engineer to join its Technical Department and contribute to the design, engineering, supervision, and implementation of technical and MEP projects across its facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP engineering, particularly HVAC systems and ductwork design, as well as proven experience in coordinating and supervising technical construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and design of MEP studies and technical solutions, with a focus on HVAC systems and ductwork.
  • Survey, assessment, and documentation of existing building facilities and MEP installations, including preparation of technical drawings.
  • Design and drafting using AutoCAD 2D and Revit MEP.
  • Monitoring, supervision, and coordination of MEP installation and construction works.
  • Participation in the technical evaluation of contractors and suppliers.
  • Preparation of technical specifications, tender documents, and complete Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Monitoring project progress in terms of schedule, quality, cost, and compliance with approved designs and technical specifications.
  • Preparation of technical reports and monitoring the quality and proper execution of works.
  • Collaboration with the Legal Department for the preparation and finalization of technical contracts.
  • Coordination with internal departments, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the successful implementation of projects.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in MEP design, engineering, or construction project supervision.
  • Solid knowledge of MEP systems, with particular emphasis on HVAC systems and ductwork.
  • Basic knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles and installations.
  • Very good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D. Knowledge of Revit MEP will be considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of technical specifications, contracts, and relevant legislation.
  • Experience in industrial facilities will be considered an advantage.
  • Previous experience in the Pharmaceutical and/or Food Industry will be considered a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of 4M ADAPT will be considered an advantage.
  • Good command of MS Office and English.
  • Strong organizational, communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
