  • Contribute to strategic discussions regarding Democracy Forward’s work and matters.
  • Participate in meetings with clients, which may include nonprofit organizations, unions, local government entities, and other entities.

Qualifications:

We recognize that strong candidates may not meet 100% of the qualifications listed. If you believe you can contribute meaningfully to our team, we encourage you to apply.

  • First or second year law student currently enrolled in an accredited law school.
  • Interest in public interest litigation in a variety of subject areas.
  • Demonstrated commitment to democracy and social progress.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and drive forward work under tight deadlines.
  • Well-developed collaborative and interpersonal skills including demonstrated self-awareness, commitment to diversity and inclusivity, and ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders across diverse cultures and backgrounds.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

Not sure you meet all of our qualifications? Research shows that men apply for jobs when they meet an average of 60% of the criteria. Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
