Als beleidsmedewerker geef je vanuit een proactieve beleidsvoorbereidende rol invulling aan je functie door het Departement WEWIS en/of de politieke overheid adviserend, coördinerend, operationeel en conceptueel te ondersteunen. Je expertise ligt in de digitale transitie van de economie en maatschappij, met een specifieke focus op beleidsmatige ontwikkelingen rond cybersecurity, artificiële intelligentie (AI) en telecom. Daarnaast coördineer je de opvolging van de Europese beleidsontwikkelingen inzake digitalisering, in nauwe afstemming met de kabinetten en de federale overheid.

Je volgt het EU-regelgevend kader met betrekking tot digitalisering op en vormt hierin een coördinerende schakel tussen de Vlaamse administratie, de kabinetten, het federale niveau en de Europese instellingen. Je bereidt hiervoor intern Vlaamse standpunten voor door input te verzamelen bij betrokken beleidsdomeinen en experten, en stemt deze af met kabinetten en het federale niveau. Een deeltijdse detachering naar de Permanente Vertegenwoordiging bij de EU hoort hierbij tot de mogelijkheden. Als beleidsmedewerker neem je ook de rol op van 2de delegate voor Horizon Europe, Cluster 3 – Civil Security for Society (de cluster waaronder o.a. cybersecurity-onderzoek en -innovatie valt).

Je neemt daarnaast een coördinerende rol op bij de uitvoering van het Vlaams Beleidsplan cybersecurity. Als beleidsmedewerker digitale transitie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het toekennen en controleren van de middelen die toegekend worden in het onderzoeksluik en het flankerend luik van het beleidsplan. Hierbij verzorg je ook het secretariaat van de stuurgroep die waakt over de uitvoering van het plan.

  • Je hebt een masterdiploma.
  • Je beschikt over minstens 1 jaar ervaring die relevant is voor de functie in beleidsanalyse en/of strategisch advies en/of beleids-en stakeholdercoördinatie.
