Our Police Officers are responsible for public safety by maintaining order, responding to emergencies, protecting people and property, enforcing motor vehicle and criminal laws, and promoting good community relations. This position follows a career path leading to specialization in Police Patrol and the opportunity to promote with in the department. Responsibilities:
Notification to Applicants: The elements of the selection process: online application, Personal History Statement, initial interview, written exam, records check, background investigation, polygraph exam, oral interview, Chief’s panel, medical exam, drug screen, psychological exam, fingerprint check, and final selection. The expected duration of the selection process is 90-120 days. Applicants not selected for hire may re-apply for the next available posted position. Qualified applicants will be emailed further instructions and a Personal History Statement to complete prior to testing. Applicants will be notified of the testing date once this posting is closed and a testing date is scheduled.
