Job Summary

You will leadinterior design projects from client consultation to project completion,creating design concepts, managing timelines, coordinating suppliers andcontractors, and ensuring compliance with Singapore renovation regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to gather requirements, budget constraints, and design preferences to develop tailored interior solutions
  • Conduct site visits to take measurements and assess space layouts for accurate design planning
  • Develop design concepts, mood boards, floor plans, and 3D drawings to visualize project proposals
  • Prepare precise CAD drawings and detailed design documentation to guide project execution
  • Source and coordinate materials, furniture, and fixtures with suppliers to meet design specifications
  • Prepare and manage quotations and invoices, ensuring transparent communication of project costs
  • Manage project timelines proactively to prevent delays and ensure smooth renovation progress
  • Coordinate with contractors and trades to align work with design plans and quality standards
  • Organize and submit all necessary paperwork, including quotations, permits, invoices, MCST and HDB forms, maintaining compliance with regulations
  • Apply knowledge of Singapore renovation regulations to ensure all projects meet legal requirements
  • Address client feedback and complaints professionally to maintain client satisfaction
  • Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with clients until project completion
  • Work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Uphold integrity in all submissions, communications, and work processes

Required competencies and certifications

  • Proficient in AutoCAD or equivalent design software
  • Strong understanding of Singapore renovation regulations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate well in a team
  • Strong organizational skills to manage work efficiently and maintain orderly paperwork
  • Effective problem-solving skills to handle customer issues calmly and professionally
  • Responsible, proactive approach with adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Sales-driven mindset with interest or experience in interior design
