Your tasks & responsibilities?

As Waste Operations Administration Team Lead, you combine people management with process ownership and compliance oversight.

  • You lead, coach and develop a team of six employees, ensuring clear priorities, accountability and a collaborative team culture. You support team members in resolving administrative and process-related issues across departments, empowering them to take ownership while facilitating cross-departmental alignment when needed.
  • You ensure all waste administration, reporting and reception activities are carried out accurately, efficiently and in compliance with applicable legislation and internal procedures.
  • You implement changes in waste legislation by translating new requirements into practical processes, procedures and ways of working for your team.
  • You monitor the accuracy and timeliness of critical reports and registrations, including waste registers and other compliance-related documentation.
  • You drive continuous improvement by analyzing workflows, resolving operational challenges and implementing process optimization initiatives together with internal stakeholders.

Who are you?

You are a structured and analytical people manager who enjoys improving processes and helping others succeed.

  • You hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree or have built equivalent expertise through relevant experience.
  • You have at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in an administrative, operational, logistics and/or compliance-oriented environment, including experience leading or coaching people.
  • You are analytical and precise, with a strong ability to understand and navigate complex administrative flows. You enjoy diving deep into processes, identifying inefficiencies, and structuring clear, workable solutions.
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch and English and are comfortable interacting with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • You have a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
  • Experience with waste legislation, waste administration and/or transport-related processes is considered a strong asset.
