For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner who will work closely with managers and leadership teams, supporting them in making effective people decisions and building strong, engaged and high-performing teams.

This is a role for an HR professional who enjoys being close to the business, understands both the people and operational side of HR, and can turn HR knowledge into practical solutions.

Primary Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Provide day-to-day HR guidance to managers and employees across a range of people-related matters;
  • Support organizational planning, team development and HR initiatives aligned with business needs;
  • Manage and advise on employee relations and performance-related cases;
  • Coordinate key processes related to performance, talent and employee development;
  • Work with Recruitment and HR colleagues on hiring, onboarding and internal career opportunities;
  • Contribute to initiatives focused on engagement, retention, wellbeing and leadership development;
  • Prepare and interpret HR reports and metrics to identify trends and support informed decisions;
  • Ensure HR practices are applied consistently and in line with company policies and Bulgarian employment legislation;
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and contribute to their implementation.

Desired skills and experience:

  • A solid HR background gained over 5+ years in roles covering a broad range of HR activities;
  • Hands-on understanding of employment practices in Bulgaria and confidence in dealing with workplace-related cases;
  • Experience supporting managers with day-to-day people topics, employee development and performance discussions;
  • Strong discretion when working with confidential information and situations requiring careful handling;
  • Ability to work independently while building effective relationships with different stakeholders;
  • Previous involvement in business or organizational projects involving changes to teams, processes or ways of working will be considered a plus;
  • Very good written and spoken English.
