The posting

We are hiring in Latin America!

🟢 At Dev.Pro, a US-based outsourced software development company, we're looking for contractors to join our global team of IT professionals helping tech companies scale their business through software engineering expertise. Operating as a remote-first company, our experts work across 55+ countries on five continents, giving us the flexibility and skillset to deliver high-quality engineering for projects of any size or complexity.

We invite an Intermediate IT Specialist to join our team and support a US-based executive’s technical environment and ongoing projects. You’ll troubleshoot issues across Windows systems, AWS, networking, and other tools, take ownership of technical tasks, and guide Junior IT Specialists. You’ll also help build and run services with Claude, starting with a voice prescreen pilot – a real-time Python service running on a GPU server in AWS.

🟩 What's in it for you:

  • Build and run services for a US-based executive, solving practical problems through hands-on technical work
  • Take ownership of technical projects, guiding Junior IT Specialists and helping them deliver their work correctly
  • Strengthen your skills in Python, Linux, AWS, networking, and AI tools like Claude

✅ Is that you?

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT, systems administration, software development, DevOps, or a related technical role
  • Windows administration with PowerShell, including services, scheduled tasks, the registry, the firewall, Windows Update, and Defender
  • Hands-on Python experience for writing, debugging, and maintaining code
  • Practical experience with Linux
  • AWS administration experience, including EC2, IAM, S3, Systems Manager, Service Quotas, budgets, and billing alerts
  • Working knowledge of IAM roles, users, JSON policies, and least-privilege access
  • Experience troubleshooting connectivity and remote-access issues
  • Knowledge of DNS and email records (SPF, DKIM, and DMARC)
  • Google Workspace administration, including mail routing, groups, shared drives, and third-party app access
  • Experience administering password managers, such as 1Password, including vaults, service accounts, and CLI tools
  • Experience with MDM and EDR tools, such as ManageEngine and SentinelOne
  • Experience using Git to manage code changes and investigate issues
  • Upper-Intermediate English level, with the ability to provide clear updates on completed work, results, and outstanding issues
  • Strong security practices, including least-privilege access, safe handling of credentials, and backing up before making changes
  • Ability to follow written procedures, document work accurately, and escalate issues when needed
  • Sound judgment in handling sensitive changes, seeking approval, and explaining trade-offs clearly
  • Clear, calm communication and the patience to work effectively with executive stakeholders

Desirable:

  • Experience supporting macOS
  • Experience supporting executives or VIP users
  • Familiarity with backup tools such as MSP360 or CloudBerry
  • Experience with Google APIs (Drive, Sheets, Gmail) and OAuth scopes
  • Familiarity with Playwright for browser automation and Cloudflare for anti-bot protection
  • Experience with GPU cloud instances or AI/ML infrastructure
  • Familiarity with Claude or other AI-assisted development tools
  • HubSpot or Jira Service Management administration experience
  • AWS or Google Workspace certification

🧩Key responsibilities and your contribution

In this role, you’ll own technical work across the executive’s environment and ongoing projects.

  • Build, run, maintain, and troubleshoot services for the executive’s ongoing projects
  • Administer AWS resources and services (EC2, S3, IAM, Systems Manager, and billing alerts)
  • Administer Google Workspace, 1Password, and other SaaS platforms
  • Configure and troubleshoot network and remote-access tools, including VPNs, proxies, RDP, and DNS and email records
  • Administer and troubleshoot endpoint solutions like ManageEngine and SentinelOne
  • Read and debug Python scripts, using Git to manage code changes and investigate issues
  • Manage technical tasks independently, taking ownership from investigation through resolution
  • Use AI assistants to investigate issues, write and troubleshoot scripts, and draft responses, verifying their output before use
  • Guide Junior IT Specialists and help ensure tasks are completed correctly
  • Communicate directly with the executive and Security team, provide clear updates, explain technical trade-offs, and obtain approval before making sensitive changes
  • Maintain accurate task records, including actions taken, results, and outstanding issues
  • Follow security procedures, protect credentials, use least-privilege access, back up before making changes, and check with Security before changing security settings

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
