🟢 At Dev.Pro, a US-based outsourced software development company, we're looking for contractors to join our global team of IT professionals helping tech companies scale their business through software engineering expertise. Operating as a remote-first company, our experts work across 55+ countries on five continents, giving us the flexibility and skillset to deliver high-quality engineering for projects of any size or complexity.

We invite a Software Engineer to join our team and work on a streamlined version of a point-of-sale (POS) and business management platform used across the restaurant, food service, and retail industries. The project focuses on building a new React-based UI for administrative functionality, including data management, reporting, and back-office operations. Your role will involve frontend development, creating responsive interfaces, and integrating them with existing APIs.

✅ Is that you?

  • 3+ years of hands-on commercial experience developing web applications with React
  • Good understanding of frontend development principles and best practices
  • Solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience developing responsive and adaptive UIs
  • Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs
  • Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture
  • Basic experience using AI-assisted development tools within an IDE
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Upper-Intermediate English level

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with frontend testing tools and practices
  • Familiarity with cloud-based application environments

🧩Key responsibilities and your contribution

In this role, you'll help develop a streamlined version of an enterprise application, focusing on frontend functionality, responsive interfaces, and integration with existing APIs.

  • Develop and maintain frontend functionality using React
  • Build responsive UIs for data management, reporting, and back-office features
  • Integrate frontend components with existing REST APIs
  • Work with micro-frontend architecture to support application maintainability and scalability
  • Use AI-assisted development tools within the IDE for everyday coding tasks
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to implement features, troubleshoot issues, and ensure application quality
  • Create and maintain technical documentation related to implemented features
