The posting
Key Responsibilities:
1. Continuous Improvement & Lean Implementation - Lead and support continuous improvement (CI) initiatives across production - Deploy and sustain Lean methodologies (Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Just-In-Time) - Identify waste (Muda), variability, and inefficiencies and implement corrective actions
2. Process Analysis and Optimization - Analyze current processes to identify bottlenecks, cycle time issues, and non-value-added activities - Develop and implement optimized workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs) - Conduct time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis - Utilize tools such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to improve end-to-end flow
3. Performance Monitoring & KPI Management - Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, productivity, lead time, and scrap rate - Establish visual management systems (dashboards, boards, daily management) - Drive accountability and performance improvements based on data analysis
4. Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving - Lead structured problem-solving activities using Lean and Six Sigma tools - Ensure sustainable corrective and preventive actions are implemented
5. Standardization and Best Practices - Develop and maintain standard work procedures and documentation - Ensure consistent application of Lean standards across departments - Benchmark and share best practices within the organization
6. Training & Change Management - Train employees and supervisors on Lean principles and tools - Promote a Lean culture and continuous improvement mindset - Support change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with production, quality, engineering, supply chain, and maintenance teams - Support new product introductions (NPI) with Lean principles - Collaborate to improve end-to-end value streams
8. Cost Reduction & Efficiency Improvement - Identify and execute projects that deliver cost savings and productivity gains - Improve resource utilization (labor, materials, equipment) - Support budgeting through cost analysis and ROI evaluation of improvement projects
9. Factory Digitalization & Smart manufacturing - Drive implementation of real time manufacturing monitoring, to enhance visibility and control of manufacturing operations. - Establish dashboard and KPIs for OEE, scrap, production output and maintenance performance. - Provide regular reports on production efficiency, equipment performance, and maintenance KPIs.
