VdS Weaving , gelegen in Oudenaarde, is een innovatieve KMO die gespecialiseerd is in technisch geweven textiel .

Met een team van 20 collega's ontwikkelen en produceren we hoogwaardige weefsels voor uiteenlopende sectoren zoals coating en composiet, waterbehandeling, maritieme toepassingen, landbouw en high-performance textiel voor defensie en persoonlijke bescherming. We zijn een exclusieve partner voor onze (internationale) klanten en dragen duurzaamheid hoog in het vaandel.

In het kader van verdere groei en de professionalisering van de productieomgeving bouwen we een nieuw technisch team. Daarom creëerden we een nieuwe rol die de productie ondersteunt, optimaliseert en mee ontwikkelt.

Jouw rol

Vanuit jouw passie voor technisch textiel en performante machines neem je een belangrijke inhoudelijke rol op in de optimalisatie van onze productieomgeving.

Je takenpakket is gevarieerd en combineert technologie, productie en innovatie.

  • Je vertaalt samen met klanten en interne teams ideeën en specificaties naar een werkbaar technisch weefsel.
  • Je coördineert en begeleidt de techniekers in hun dagelijkse werkzaamheden.
  • Je bent hands-on aanwezig in de productie: afregelen, testen, pionieren en optimaliseren van weefmachines zit in je DNA.
  • Je zoekt continu naar de beste machine-instellingen met focus op kwaliteit, efficiëntie, ergonomie en veiligheid.
  • Je analyseert storingen en kwaliteitsafwijkingen en gaat grondig op zoek naar de oorzaken én structurele oplossingen.
  • Je bouwt en bewaakt een doordacht onderhouds- en wisselstukkenbeleid en zorgt voor structuur en overzicht in de werkplaats.
  • Je volgt actief de markt van machineconstructeurs en nieuwe productietechnieken en onderhoudt nauwe contacten met deze partners.
  • Je detecteert verbeterkansen en implementeert technische en procesmatige optimalisaties in het kader van verdere automatisatie en Industrie 4.0-initatieven.

Jouw profiel

  • Je hebt min. een bachelor met expertise in elektromechanica, textieltechnologie, regeltechniek,...
  • Je hebt minstens 4 jaar relevante ervaring in een soortgelijke technische productieomgeving
  • Affiniteit of ervaring met textiel is een zeer mooie plus, maar geen vereiste.
  • Je voelt je het best in een productieomgeving en werkt graag hands-on.
  • Je bent geboeid door de combinatie van textiel, mechanica, elektronica, automatisatie en software.
  • Je bent een echte teamspeler met verantwoordelijkheidszin en ownership.
  • Je zoekt bewust een rol met verantwoordelijkheid en complexiteit.
  • Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands, en kan ook in het Engels overleggen met klanten.
