Diehl Hyundai of Massillon | Massillon, OH Full-Time | Automotive Service Department

Diehl Hyundai of Massillon is looking for a dependable, energetic, and customer-focused Service Porter to join our growing automotive service team in Massillon, Ohio.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working around vehicles, interacting with customers, and staying active throughout the workday. Whether you already have dealership experience or you're looking to start a career in the automotive industry, we want to hear from you.

As a Service Porter, you'll play an important role in keeping our Hyundai service department running efficiently while helping provide customers with a professional and positive dealership experience.

Service Porter Responsibilities

As a Service Porter at Diehl Hyundai of Massillon, you will:

  • Greet service customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Move customer vehicles safely throughout the service department and dealership
  • Park and retrieve vehicles for service customers
  • Organize vehicles in designated service and parking areas
  • Assist Service Advisors and Technicians with vehicle movement
  • Prepare vehicles for customer pickup following completed service
  • Help maintain an organized service drive and parking area
  • Transport vehicles between dealership departments when necessary
  • Assist with dealership vehicle pickups and deliveries as assigned
  • Keep service areas clean, organized, and professional
  • Check vehicles for obvious damage and report concerns to management
  • Help maintain the appearance of customer and dealership vehicles
  • Follow dealership safety procedures when operating vehicles
  • Provide courteous assistance to customers and dealership employees
  • Perform additional service department support duties as needed

Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who:

  • Have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Are dependable and punctual
  • Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Are comfortable driving a variety of cars and SUVs
  • Can work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment
  • Pay close attention to detail
  • Can work independently and as part of a team
  • Are comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
  • Are willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities

Previous automotive dealership experience is helpful but not required for the right candidate.

Experience as a Service Porter, Automotive Porter, Dealership Porter, Lot Attendant, Vehicle Porter, Valet, Car Washer, Detailer, Service Assistant, or Automotive Service Support Associate is a plus.
