Full-Time | Automotive Sales | Massillon, OH

Diehl Subaru of Massillon is looking for an energetic, motivated, and customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultant to join our growing sales team in Massillon, Ohio.

Whether you're an experienced automotive salesperson or a motivated professional looking to start a rewarding career in automotive sales, we want to hear from you. We're looking for people who enjoy working with customers, building relationships, and helping drivers find the right vehicle for their needs and budget.

Previous automotive sales experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the drive to succeed.

Automotive Sales Consultant Responsibilities

As a Sales Consultant at Diehl Subaru of Massillon, you will:

  • Greet customers and provide a welcoming, professional dealership experience
  • Assist customers with selecting new Subaru and pre-owned vehicles
  • Learn each customer's vehicle needs, preferences, and budget
  • Explain vehicle features, technology, safety systems, and available options
  • Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and test drives
  • Follow up with internet leads, phone inquiries, and showroom customers
  • Maintain consistent communication with prospective and previous customers
  • Build long-term relationships that generate repeat and referral business
  • Maintain accurate customer information in the dealership CRM
  • Work with sales managers and finance professionals to provide a smooth buying experience
  • Stay current on Subaru models, features, incentives, and product information
  • Maintain knowledge of pre-owned vehicle inventory
  • Assist with vehicle delivery and explain features and technology to customers
  • Meet individual and dealership sales goals
  • Represent Diehl Subaru of Massillon professionally in the dealership and community

Previous experience as an Automotive Sales Consultant, Car Salesperson, Vehicle Sales Representative, Internet Sales Consultant, BDC Representative, Customer Service Representative, Retail Sales Associate, or Sales Professional is beneficial but not required.
