We are looking for an organized, proactive, and hospitality-driven Office Manager / Executive Assistant to run the day-to-day operations of our Broomfield office, while also supporting one to two Vice Presidents. You will be the go-to resource and cultural anchor for local employees and visiting executives, while also managing complex executive calendars, travel, and logistics. Reporting to the Director of Executive Administration, you will have direct exposure to our Leadership Team and work closely with our Executive Assistant team on diverse projects.

What You'll Do

Executive Support

  • Provide high-level administrative support to 1-2 Vice Presidents, including complex calendar management, meeting coordination, and offsite planning.
  • Plan, book, and manage travel logistics, including flights, accommodations, and dining reservations.
  • Process expense reports to ensure timely submission and tracking.
  • Prepare meeting materials, coordinating agendas and keeping track of action items.
  • Partner with the EA team to ensure Leadership schedules are coordinated and aligned, and provide back-up support to the broader EA team when needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.

Office Management

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, building management, and vendor relationships in order to coordinate repairs and maintenance, keep the space functional and well-stocked, and plan for capacity as local headcount changes.
  • Own contracts and operational partnerships with local food, beverage, cleaning, security, IT support, and office supply vendors in order to manage the office budget effectively, track spend, and keep invoicing and approvals running smoothly.
  • Serve as the direct go-to resource for on-site employee needs, coordinating new hire desk setups, onboarding logistics, badge access, and IT equipment deployment.
  • Plan and execute in-office events, team lunches, and all-hands logistics, as well as offsite events for the leadership team, to cultivate a connected community.
  • Manage front-of-house hospitality when executives, customers, partners, or board members visit the Broomfield office, including catering coordination, conference room setups, and A/V readiness.
  • Act as the on-site liaison between cross-functional partners in People, IT, and Finance to track new hire start dates and facilitate space planning for team growth.

What You'll Add to DigitalOcean

  • Executive Support Expertise: Creative and efficient calendar management, with experience handling complex scheduling needs, travel arrangements, meeting preparation, and expense reporting with ease.
  • Technical & Operational Breadth: Experience in office management, facilities management, vendor procurement, and contract oversight within a fast-paced corporate or technology environment.
  • Budget & Event Experience: Experience with budget management, including invoice processing, and with event coordination.
  • Tools: Proficiency in G Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Zoom; familiarity with workplace operational tools.
  • The "Human" Element: Strong verbal and written communication and diplomatic skills, allowing you to interface comfortably with everyone from early-career new hires to visiting board members and executive stakeholders.
  • Organization & Time Management: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Growth Mindset: A positive, team-oriented attitude, a bias for action, and a "leave it better than you found it" approach.
  • Previous experience working within a technology organization is preferred, but not required.

Compensation Range:

  • $98,400 - $110,000
  • Non-sales roles: In addition to base salary, this role is eligible to participate in DigitalOcean’s annual bonus plan and may be eligible for a new hire equity grant, subject to plan terms and local eligibility. Bonus amounts depend on company and individual performance.
  • Sales roles (sales compensation eligible): In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation under the applicable sales compensation plan and may be eligible for a new hire equity grant, subject to plan terms and local eligibility.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
