The Role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps & Backend Engineer with extensive hands-on AWS and DevOps expertise to translate cloud operational excellence into a robust production product. In this role, you will develop the backend systems and agentic workflows that analyze cloud costs, reliability, security, logs, and architectural risks.

While prior GenAI experience is an advantage, we prioritize strong cloud judgment, backend engineering excellence, and the curiosity to build agentic systems from the ground up.

Requirements

  • Architect and build the agentic systems powering our FinOps, SRE, and cloud architecture solutions.
  • Design and implement agents capable of investigating AWS environments, complex cloud data, and delivering insights.
  • Encode deep AWS operational expertise, spanning IAM, networking, and management into agent tools, decision logic, and retrieval systems.
  • Develop the backend platform to support production-grade agents, focusing on AWS integrations.
  • Iteratively improve agent performance based on production feedback, analysis, and customer usage patterns.
  • Maintain full ownership of the product lifecycle, from initial design through deployment and long-term iteration.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to transform real-world cloud challenges into dependable, automated capabilities.

What we’re looking for

Must have

  • 7+ years of hands-on AWS or DevOps experience in production-scale environments.
  • 2+ years of backend development experience, with a proven track record of building and operating production systems.
  • Deep technical proficiency in AWS services, cloud networking, and security best practices.
  • Strong backend engineering skills, ideally with Python and native AWS services.
  • Experience architecting APIs, asynchronous jobs, and complex data-processing workflows.
  • Proficiency in designing for resilience, including observability, and robust error handling.
  • Ownership mindset with the ability to navigate and drive customer outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Nice to have

  • Experience building GenAI applications, LLM workflows, RAG systems, or evaluation pipelines.
  • Familiarity with tool calling, agent orchestration, and prompt engineering.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD, and Kubernetes.
  • Background in cloud cost optimization, SRE practices, or security automation.
  • Experience thriving in high-growth startup environments.
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical engineering experience.

Location: Beit Gibor Sport Tower, Ramat Gan (near Tel Aviv Savidor Central Station).
