  • Play a critical role in the month-end and year-end close processes, meeting all deadlines with precision; investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies through root-cause analysis
  • Find opportunities to automate manual reconciliations, journal entry support, and recurring close tasks using tools such as Databricks, Amazon Quick, Copilot, SQL, and Python
  • Find and help adopt AI-driven solutions in accounting workflows, such as reconciliation matching, variance and flux commentary, anomaly detection, and documentation; help evolve accounting systems, data tools, and AI capabilities as part of Boost's continuous improvement efforts
  • Use data analysis on large datasets to strengthen data validations, controls, and the accuracy of account balances; help build and maintain data workflows that give real-time visibility into close status and account health
  • Work with FP&A, Data Engineering, IT, and business teams on data requirements and the upstream processes that feed the GL; turn complex data into clear, actionable insights, explain accounting concepts in terms of the underlying data, and perform financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and new products

Core Skills, Competencies, and Key Experiences (What you’ll bring)

  • Solid understanding of GAAP, double-entry accounting, and the close cycle
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as generative AI assistants, Databricks AI features, Amazon Quick, and Copilot; interest in applying them to accounting
  • Self-motivated, with creative problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial and data findings to non-financial partners
  • Natural curiosity and eagerness to learn a complex, changing business; adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Additional Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
