UI/UX Frontend Developer

DISHER is currently partnering with a global supply chain solutions organization on their UI/UX Frontend Developer opportunity. In this role, you will design and develop user-centered interfaces for the company and their internal applications. You will help translate complex service-supply-chain data and operational workflows into accessible, responsive and reliable digital experiences for internal and external users. You will own front-end implementation and user experience from workflow discovery and interaction design through production delivery, testing, performance and ongoing improvement.

What it's like to work here:

This organization empowers high-performance teams to solve complex global challenges through creativity, partnership, and technology. Employees enjoy a supportive, collaborative environment where initiative and growth are celebrated.

What you will get to do:

  • Map user journeys and operational workflows and create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes that make complex information easy to understand and act on.
  • Gather input from internal and external users through interviews, usability testing, and feedback review and incorporate findings into product improvements.
  • Explain and document UI/UX decisions for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Design, build, and maintain production user interfaces within the companies platform using Next.js App Router, React, and TypeScript, using React Server Components by default and client components when browser functionality requires them.
  • Develop and maintain inventory and network views, on-time performance dashboards, filter toolbars, saved views, data tables, and analytical charts.
  • Shape URL-driven filters, sorting, and pagination so saved links remain reliable and recoverable.
  • Implement screens, forms, and data views across .NET and Next.js applications with consistent, accessible, and usable interaction patterns.
  • Apply and extend the product design system, including Tailwind CSS, shared primitives, and design tokens, to maintain consistency across Navigator and related applications.
  • Ensure responsive layouts, semantic markup, keyboard navigation, screen-reader compatibility, efficient rendering, and appropriately sized client bundles.
  • Write and maintain component tests and browser end-to-end tests using Playwright or equivalent tools.
  • Monitor and improve browser-level quality and performance for interactive, data-heavy pages.
  • Partner with Product, Design, Backend, and Data Engineering teams to translate operational requirements into clear and usable interfaces.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to frontend engineers through code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Help define and enforce frontend standards, including component boundaries, TypeScript contracts, accessibility requirements, and review quality.
  • Assist with scoping and estimating frontend work for sprint planning and product roadmaps.
  • Stay current with React, Next.js, user-experience practices, and web-platform changes and recommend adoption when it improves the product.

What will make you successful:

  • 4-6 years of experience as a Frontend, UI/UX, or Full Stack Engineer with substantial ownership of production user interfaces.
  • Strong hands-on experience with React and TypeScript in a modern framework; Next.js App Router is strongly preferred.
  • Experience building complex tables, filters, dashboards, and charts rather than only marketing or form-centered pages. Practical experience with a utility-first CSS system such as Tailwind and working within an established design system.
  • Solid understanding of server-side and client-side rendering, data fetching, rendering performance, and client-bundle optimization. Experience delivering semantic, keyboard-accessible, and screen-reader-friendly interfaces.
  • Experience with Git, code review, CI practices, component testing with Vitest, Jest, or similar tools, and browser end-to-end testing with Playwright or equivalent tools.
  • Experience mentoring engineers, leading small technical initiatives, or serving as a project point of contact; formal management experience is not required.
  • Ability to explain UI/UX and interaction decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience designing user-centered interfaces, creating wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes in Figma or a similar tool, and validating designs through user research or usability testing.
  • Must have the current and continuing right to work in the United States of America without restrictions or expirations.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
