The posting

How You’ll Contribute: We are seeking a motivated, organized, and technically curious Associate Producer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of live, virtual, hybrid, and broadcast productions. Working closely with the Executive Producer and an established production team, this individual will assist with all phases of production, including project intake, production planning, asset coordination, rehearsals, live event execution, and post-production follow-up. This is an early-career production position designed for an individual with foundational experience in professional production environments who is eager to develop their skills and grow within an established organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting live events, virtual productions, or broadcast workflows, along with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn established production processes. While previous experience in television or broadcast production is highly valued, we are equally interested in candidates who demonstrate strong production fundamentals, technical aptitude, adaptability, and professional growth potential.

Work Environment & Schedule

This position is based in Santa Clara, California. Onsite presence is required for live productions, studio operations, rehearsals, and event preparation. Some remote flexibility may be available when supporting virtual productions. Schedule flexibility may be required to accommodate live events, rehearsals, and occasional productions outside standard business hours. The Associate Producer will work under the guidance of the Executive Producer and established production leadership, with opportunities for increasing responsibility as skills and experience develop.

What You’ll Do:

Production Planning & Coordination

Support the Executive Producer and production team in planning and executing live, virtual, hybrid, and broadcast productions. Assist with project intake, scope definition, requirements gathering, and production scheduling. Develop and maintain production timelines, run-of-show documents, rehearsal schedules, production checklists, and event documentation. Coordinate production logistics, resources, and deliverables across internal teams and external partners. Track production milestones, outstanding action items, and changes to production requirements. Support pre-production meetings, rehearsals, production execution, and post-event reviews. Take increasing ownership of assigned production tasks and smaller productions as experience and proficiency develop.

Live, Virtual & Hybrid Production Support

Assist with the execution of live in-person events, virtual productions, and hybrid events involving both onsite and remote participants. Support Zoom Meetings and Zoom Webinars, including multiple presenters, remote participants, presentation content, video playback, and graphics. Coordinate with technical operators to ensure presenters, media assets, and production elements are prepared and available. Participate in technical rehearsals, production testing, and show readiness activities. Monitor production requirements and communicate changes or issues to the appropriate team members. Assist with real-time production adjustments and issue coordination during live events. Develop familiarity with established production workflows, contingency procedures, and operational standards.

Production Asset Management

Coordinate the collection, organization, preparation, and distribution of production assets for live and recorded productions. Maintain production asset inventories, including videos, lower thirds, graphics, presentations, demonstrations, and supporting media. Track asset submissions, revisions, approvals, and final deliverables. Ensure production assets are properly labeled, version-controlled, organized, and accessible to the appropriate production teams. Coordinate with creative teams, presenters, technical operators, and producers to ensure assets are delivered according to production timelines. Identify missing, outdated, or incomplete production materials and communicate outstanding requirements. Take ownership of assigned asset management workflows while working within established production standards and approval processes.

Studio & Broadcast Production Support

Support productions originating from professional studios, broadcast control rooms, and live event environments. Work alongside producers, technical directors, broadcast engineers, and production operators during preparation and execution. Develop a working understanding of camera operations, audio systems, video switching, graphics, recording, and streaming workflows. Assist with production coordination involving external television networks, streaming providers, and broadcast partners. Support broadcast production documentation, technical rehearsals, and content preparation. Gain experience with professional broadcast workflows through direct participation and collaboration with experienced production personnel.

Stakeholder Communication & Coordination

Communicate production schedules, requirements, deliverables, and updates to internal stakeholders. Assist with presenter coordination, rehearsal preparation, and production logistics. Maintain professional communication with executives, presenters, production teams, and business partners. Support the Executive Producer in coordinating requirements across multiple internal departments. Escalate production concerns, scheduling conflicts, and technical issues in a timely manner. Ensure production changes and stakeholder requests are accurately documented and communicated.

Process Improvement & Professional Development

Follow established production standards, workflows, and operating procedures. Assist with maintaining production documentation, templates, checklists, and asset management processes. Participate in post-production reviews and identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and quality. Develop technical knowledge of broadcast, streaming, and virtual production technologies. Demonstrate a willingness to receive feedback, learn new workflows, and take on additional responsibilities. Work collaboratively with senior production personnel to strengthen production planning, execution, and operational skills.

Core Competencies & Skills

Foundational understanding of live event, virtual, hybrid, or broadcast production workflows. Hands-on familiarity with Zoom Meetings, Zoom Webinars, or comparable virtual production platforms. Understanding of production schedules, run-of-show documents, rehearsals, and event preparation. Experience coordinating videos, graphics, presentations, and other production assets. Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
