What you will be doing

In de rol van Associate werk je voornamelijk binnen de servicelijn Internal Audit & ISAE Assurance. Een belangrijk onderdeel van deze servicelijn is het beoordelen van de interne beheersomgeving van financiële instellingen, dit doen wij vanuit onze rol als externe accountant of als insourced interne auditor. Het bieden van zekerheid, bijvoorbeeld in de vorm van een ISAE 3402-rapport (Type I of Type II), is een belangrijke toegevoegde waarde die wij onze klanten en hun belanghebbenden leveren. Als Associate leer je hoe onze klanten zijn georganiseerd en toets je hun interne beheersing. De interne beheersing bestaat uit procedures, richtlijnen, standaarden en functiescheiding. Jouw taak is om vast te stellen of de interne beheersing is uitgevoerd volgens de voorgeschreven processen en procedures. Het testen gebeurt via walkthroughs en steekproeven. Een walkthrough begint met een gesprek met de proceseigenaar van de klant. Samen met je Manager loop je de interne beheersing door om deze in de praktijk te toetsen. Na afronding van de testfase beoordeel je of de beheersing correct is toegepast en uitgevoerd. Je bespreekt je bevindingen met je Manager, waarna de eindconclusie wordt gerapporteerd aan de klant.

What you will need

  • Een afgeronde hbo- of wo-opleiding (Bachelor, Master of gelijkwaardig) in Accountancy, Finance & Control, Bedrijfskunde of Business Management.
  • Je bent sociaal vaardig en je werkt nauwkeuring.
  • Een starter op de arbeidsmarkt of net begonnen aan je carrière.
  • Je bent gemotiveerd om te leren van en binnen de vermogensbeheer-sector.
  • Kennis van of ervaring met de financiële sector-sector is een pré.
  • Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse taal en een goede beheersing van de Engelse taal, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
