Key Responsibilities
1. Phase 1: Digital Transformation Kickoff & External Vendor Orchestration
· Lead early-stage digital transformation initiatives, working closely with clinical and IT stakeholders to audit existing legacy workflows and lay the groundwork for a modernized, patient-first digital ecosystem.
· Actively scout the global market for emerging healthcare technologies (e.g., IoT medical devices, advanced diagnostics, AI, wearables).
· Lead technical due diligence on third-party vendors and solutions.
· Act as the primary liaison managing external technology vendors, coordinating their integration into the overarching strategic roadmap.
· Design, execute, and evaluate rapid Proof of Concept (PoC) and Proof of Value (PoV) pilots within a live clinical environment.
· Organize and spearhead regular on-site "Technology Showcases" to demonstrate tangible innovations to C-level executives and clinical stakeholders.
2. Phase 2: Agile Pod Leadership & Product Ownership
· Serve as the primary Project/Product Manager for a suite of high-impact digital initiatives (e.g., Next-Gen EMR engines, Hospital-at-Home infrastructure, AI Orchestration Middleware).
· Build and lead an internal engineering Pod to execute custom development or provide maintenance work as the project scales.
· Translate complex clinical workflows and operational requirements into clear, actionable technical user stories and architecture blueprints.
· Manage and prioritize the overarching sprint backlog via Agile Work Orders, ensuring development velocity aligns with commercial objectives.
· Coordinate the end-to-end delivery lifecycle: from ideation and scoping to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and clinical handover.
3. Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management
· C-Suite Collaboration: Work closely and report directly to the senior management and C-level executives of both CARE and our strategic partner to align on digital roadmaps, commercial objectives, and project ROI.
· Operate seamlessly between CARE’s internal software engineering squads, external vendors, and our strategic partner's clinical champions and IT operations teams.
· Act as the primary technical integrator, managing the integration of approved third-party vendor solutions into core legacy infrastructure.
· Navigate strict data privacy (PDPA) and clinical risk governance frameworks, ensuring all deployments are safe and compliant.
Experience & Qualifications
Required Experience:
· 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Program Management, or Digital Transformation leadership.
· Proven track record of managing enterprise-level software development lifecycles using Agile methodologies.
· Extensive experience in vendor management, evaluating third-party technical architectures, and integrating external solutions.
Good to Have:
· Health Tech Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of healthcare IT ecosystems (EMR/EHR systems, HL7/FHIR standards, telemedicine workflows).
Skills & Competencies:
· Executive Presence: Highly confident and capable of presenting to C-Suite executives, negotiating scope, managing expectations across two distinct corporate entities, and navigating complex governance.
· Strategic Visionary & Executor: Ability to zoom out to the 10-year enterprise architecture view and zoom in to manage daily Jira sprint boards or vendor SLAs.
· Cross-Functional Empathy: Ability to communicate effectively with operational stakeholders, understanding the realities of strict compliance and user safety constraints.
· Technical Fluency: While you don't need to write code, you must comfortably discuss APIs, cloud-native architecture, AI model deployments, and data security with Lead Architects and external vendors.
