About the Team

Our sales and partner management teams are the heart and soul of DoorDash, helping us partner with top merchants (think restaurants, grocers, convenience stores, retailers) across the country to grow their revenue and help them operate even better. As DoorDash grows both in scale and scope of offering, the strength of our sales engine and organizational structure must grow with it. The Pre-Sales S&O team focuses on the acquisition of SMB restaurants across the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

About the Role

As a Senior Associate on Sales Strategy & Operations, you'll take end-to-end ownership of the Canada SMB Inbound, Self-Serve Merchant Onboarding (SSMO), and Sales Development Representative (SDR) functions — the core engine behind restaurant acquisition for Canada. You will own the strategy, goaling, and forecasting infrastructure for these channels, manage relationships with stakeholders across sales, marketing, and vendor partners, and be accountable for day-to-day performance and ongoing improvement of the business. You'll be expected to operate with significant autonomy — identifying opportunities, shaping strategy, and leading initiatives that produce measurable outcomes — and you'll also help the team use AI and automation to scale its own productivity, building tools and workflows that create leverage well beyond your own workload. You will report into the Canada Pre-Sales RevOps Lead on our Pre-Sales S&O team in our Sales Strategy & Operations organization.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Own – Take full ownership of the Inbound, SSMO, and SDR functions for Canada, including goaling, forecasting, and pacing infrastructure
  • Build – Design and encourage adoption of new sales products, processes, and tools (including AI-powered workflows) that scale team productivity
  • Strategize – Partner with Sales leadership to build effective, cost-efficient go-to-market strategies and structural changes to the sales motion
  • Analyze – Build and maintain models (walk-to-goal, forecasting, ROI) that evaluate performance and surface opportunities for improvement
  • Influence – Work across Merchant S&O, Sales, Analytics, Planning, and other Sales S&O teams to scale business impact, and represent Canada's needs in broader regional/global conversations

We're excited about you because…

  • You have a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in management consulting, tech, investment banking, corporate strategy, or business operations; high-growth or early-stage startup experience strongly preferred
  • You have a track record of owning a function or workstream end-to-end — diagnosing problems, designing the fix, and carrying it through to measurable impact — and you can build models and frameworks (forecasting, ROI, walk-to-goal) from ambiguous inputs to inform decisions
  • You have excellent Excel skills, are proficient in SQL and Snowflake, and are comfortable building your own tools and automations (e.g., with Claude Code or similar AI-assisted tools) to create leverage; this isn't a coding role, but a bias toward building over manual workarounds is important for success here
  • You have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, can operate credibly across levels from reps to directors, and know when to flag risk early versus solve it quietly
  • You are entrepreneurial and self-directed, requiring minimal oversight, and you're a strong cross-functional partner who has built alignment across teams with competing priorities

Nice to Haves

  • Experience working with Salesforce or other CRMs, and working knowledge of Glean or similar internal AI knowledge tools
  • Proficient in French

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
