The posting

Use your credentials. Build advanced skills. Be treated like the clinical professional you are.

Join DoveLewis’ Emergency & Critical Care team as a full-time Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) and work alongside 17+ board-certified specialists and five Veterinary Technician Specialists. As an independent nonprofit with no corporate owners or outside investors, we can focus on our patients, our people, and exceptional medicine.

One of your first conversations will be with Chief Administrative Officer Monica Maxwell to talk about your goals and what growth could look like for you here.

Note for applicants: This is DoveLewis’ general posting for credentialed technicians. Based on your experience and interests, you may also be considered for openings in Internal Medicine, Neurology, Surgery, or other departments.

Pay

  • $28–$36/hour for Certified/Licensed/Registered Veterinary Technicians or technicians with credentials transferable to Oregon
  • $38–$44/hour for Veterinary Technician Specialists (VTS)
  • 12% overnight differential for applicable shifts
  • 10% weekend differential for applicable shifts

Schedule

Our Outpatient Services and ECC Veterinary Technicians work 10-hour shifts on a rotating 3/4 schedule. That means a consistent schedule you can plan around, and three or four days off in a row every week.

All schedules include one weekend day each week.

  • Ensuring patient comfort
  • Updating clients on their pet’s progress

You may also have the opportunity to help manage advanced critical care cases under the direction of board-certified Criticalists, including:

  • Continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT)
  • Total plasma exchange (TPE)
  • High-flow oxygen therapy
  • Ventilator management
  • …and more

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.
