Gera þarf ráð fyrir dag-, kvöld- og helgarvöktum.Grunnlaun eru 680.000 kr. á mánuði fyrir 100% starf, auk vaktaálags, yfirvinnu og annarra greiðslna samkvæmt kjarasamningi Starfsgreinasambands Íslands (SGS) og Samtaka atvinnulífsins (SA) vegna veitinga-, gisti-, þjónustu- og greiðasölustaða, afþreyingarfyrirtækja og hliðstæðrar starfsemi 2024–2028.Æskilegt er að viðkomandi geti hafið störf eins fljótt og auðið er, samkvæmt samkomulagi og að loknu ráðningarferli. Ef atvinnuleyfis er krafist getur viðkomandi ekki hafið störf fyrr en leyfið hefur verið veitt.Umsækjendur skulu senda ferilskrá, upplýsingar um starfsreynslu og meðmæli, ef þau liggja fyrir, á <a href="mailto:[email protected]" rel="nofollow">[email protected]</a>.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Down Town ehf. is seeking to hire one Chef with experience in Vietnamese cuisine for a permanent full-time position (100%) in Arnarstapi, Iceland.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and cook Vietnamese dishes.Participate in the setup, organization, and preparation of the kitchen prior to the opening of the establishment.Prepare ingredients and organize daily food production.Assist in menu development and standardization.Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation standards.Carry out cleaning duties and ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations.Work collaboratively with other staff members and perform general kitchen duties as required.Qualifications:Proven experience preparing Vietnamese cuisine.Previous experience working in a professional kitchen.Knowledge of hygiene and food safety practices.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Punctual, reliable, and able to maintain high work standards.Ability to communicate in either Icelandic or English.Formal culinary education is an advantage but not a requirement.Working Hours: This is a full-time position (40 hours per week). Work is performed according to a shift schedule and may include day, evening, and weekend shifts.The base salary is ISK 680,000 per month for a full-time position, in addition to shift differentials, overtime pay, and other payments in accordance with the collective agreement between the SGS and SA for restaurants, accommodation providers, service establishments, entertainment companies, and related activities for the period 2024-2028.The preferred start date is as soon as possible, by mutual agreement and following the completion of the recruitment process.If a work permit is required, employment cannot commence until the permit has been granted.Applicants are requested to submit a CV, details of relevant work experience, and references (if available) to: <a href="mailto:[email protected]" rel="nofollow">[email protected]</a>Applicants will be considered on the basis of their qualifications, experience, and suitability for the position.
