Ben jij een eindredacteur die teksten toegankelijker en inhoudelijk sterker maakt? Vind je met gemak taalfouten en kun je die snel corrigeren? Dan heeft NU.nl een mooie plek voor jou.

Vanwege ouderschapsverloven zijn we op zoek naar een ervaren eindredacteur. Het gaat om een fulltime contract per januari met een looptijd van zeven maanden.

Wat ga je doen?

NU.nl wil het nieuws snel en foutloos brengen. Als eindredacteur haal je voornamelijk vóór publicatie taal- en tikfouten uit onze teksten. Daarnaast verbeter je de opbouw van zinnen en alinea's. Je redigeert niet alleen nieuwsberichten, maar ook duidende verhalen, interviews, (live)blogs en teksten voor video's en sociale media.

Wij willen met toegankelijke teksten een zo breed mogelijk publiek bereiken en daar draag jij aan bij. Dagelijks ontferm je je over tientallen artikelen, video's en sociale mediaposts.

Omdat je teksten van al onze deelredacties redigeert, heb je een brede kennis en interesse nodig. Verder ben je in staat scherpe journalistieke vragen te stellen over de teksten die je beoordeelt. Waar mogelijk geef je onze verslaggevers en redacteuren feedback.

Dit doe je 38 uur per week. Ook werk je geregeld 's avonds en in het weekend. De vroegste dienst begint om 6.30 uur en de laatste dienst eindigt om 23.00 uur. Thuiswerken is mogelijk, maar we zien je graag minstens drie keer per week op onze redactie in Amsterdam.

Dit maakt jou de ideale kandidaat:

  • minimaal hbo-denk- en -werkniveau
  • ervaring met tekstuele eindredactie (het liefst in de journalistiek)
  • affiniteit met nieuws

Verder ben je iemand die:

  • goed is in taal;
  • snel en onder tijdsdruk kan werken;
  • gestructureerd, zorgvuldig en flexibel is;
  • aantrekkelijke nieuwskoppen en intro's kan maken;
  • goed kan communiceren;
  • graag taalvragen beantwoordt;
  • zich thuis voelt bij onze neutrale toon en feitelijke journalistiek.

Je gaat aan de slag bij DPG Media, een van de toonaangevendste mediabedrijven van Europa. NU.nl is met acht miljoen maandelijkse gebruikers de grootste nieuwssite van Nederland.
