Job Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end quality control activities, including incoming raw material inspections, in-process quality monitoring and final inspection of finished products.
  • Conduct drinking water quality inspections and monitor testing throughout the water treatment and bottling processes.
  • Perform daily hygiene and factory housekeeping inspections covering production floors, raw material storage areas and warehouse facilities.
  • Maintain laboratory inventory, ensure proper calibration of equipment and tools, and coordinate maintenance when required.
  • Conduct monthly verification of pest control inspections and maintain proper documentation.
  • Lead the application, implementation and renewal of quality certifications and standards in compliance with SFA (Singapore Food Agency), FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP and Halal requirements.
  • Conduct internal factory audits, annual ISO certification audits, surveillance audits and customer-related inspections.
  • Coordinate external laboratory testing of source water and finished drinking water to ensure compliance with SFA standards.
  • Investigate and analyse customer complaints and reported quality issues, ensuring proper corrective actions and timely closure in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee quality management system compliance, customer quality performance indicators and overall quality control operations.
  • Conduct annual management reviews of the quality management system, including quality performance assessments, improvement plans and implementation.
  • Provide training and guidance to relevant teams on quality systems, policies, procedures and operational processes.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Superior.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Quality Control (QC) / Quality Assurance (QA).
  • Diploma or Degree preferred. Candidates with relevant professional certifications will have an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of food safety management systems and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Meticulous, responsible and organised, with good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, QA applications and database management.
  • Good understanding of applicable quality standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
