About the Team

To improve quickly, we need a dedicated team keeping test systems running and executing repeatable evaluations on real hardware. Our test team supports demos, end effector evaluation, motor and firmware testing, and forward deployment preparation.

This role is based on-site in San Francisco, CA.

In This Role, You'll

Maintenance & Repair

- Maintain demo and test robots in working condition

- Diagnose simple hardware issues and perform repairs or part swaps

- Help keep test hardware organized, available, and operational

Test Support

- Support test setup, execution, and teardown

- Assist with forward-deployed and demo-ready hardware preparation

Collaboration

- Work with engineers and the broader test team to keep evaluation moving

- Flag recurring failures and reliability issues early

Work Environment & Schedule

- On-site in San Francisco, CA

- Full-time

Compensation: $70K–$95K base salary, plus equity

This role involves standing for extended periods, working with hand and power tools, and close attention to detail.

We're Looking For Candidates Who

- Are hands-on and mechanically inclined

- Can troubleshoot and fix hardware issues quickly

- Are organized and dependable

- Work well in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

- Are excited to work closely with real robotic systems

Nice to have:

- Experience as a repair tech, maintenance tech, assembly tech, or lab tech

- Experience with electromechanical systems

- Experience supporting demos, test hardware, or field systems

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
