Inside the Role:

As the Supervisor of Prototype Vehicle Software Updates and Commissioning, you will lead a team responsible for preparing and delivering test-ready prototype vehicles to support engineering and development activities. You will provide the organization, direction, and day-to-day leadership needed to keep the team aligned with vehicle priorities, manage changing demands, coordinate resources, remove roadblocks, and ensure software update and commissioning activities are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Success in this role is about maintaining a strong, organized, and committed team that takes ownership of delivering on its commitments. You will develop and mentor technicians and commissioning engineers, establish clear expectations and priorities, coordinate closely with Engineering and other partners, and promote a culture of communication, accountability, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. Your leadership will ensure the team has the direction, support, tools, and processes needed to consistently deliver quality, test-ready prototype vehicles on time.

What You Drive at DTNA

  • Maintain clear visibility of vehicle status, upcoming work, constraints, and risks that could impact test readiness.
  • Partner with Engineering and cross-functional teams to resolve issues, communicate priorities, and keep vehicle activities moving forward.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and support to technicians and commissioning engineers, including coaching, mentoring, and technical development.
  • Establish effective team routines and working processes that improve organization, communication, consistency, and execution.
  • Ensure the team has the equipment, tools, information, and support necessary to perform its work safely and effectively.
  • Own the team’s commitment to delivering high-quality, test-ready prototype vehicles in alignment with program schedules and engineering needs.

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline with 5 years of relevant industry experience, OR 10 years of relevant hands-on industry experience in lieu of a degree, preferably within prototype vehicles, vehicle commissioning, software updates, or a related technical environment.
  • Extensive leadership experience leading technical teams, setting expectations, managing priorities, and maintaining accountability for team commitments and deliverables.
  • Strong working knowledge of vehicle systems, software updates, commissioning, diagnostics, and troubleshooting within a prototype, development, or testing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize people, resources, and competing priorities while adapting to changing schedules and maintaining focus on quality and on-time vehicle readiness.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technicians, engineers, leadership, and other partners to resolve issues and drive work to completion.
  • An attached resume is required

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
